Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant
First of all, the packaging was so great, no leakage of gravy lol. The plantain and beef patty tasted really good. One thing needs to be done is to cook the chicken a bit more. I got the curry chicken roti with potatoes. It was still pink, not the raw pink, but it was just pink. My stomache was hurting so I stopped eating the chicken. I removed the chicken from the roti so I can finish the meal and it was good. Same with the two piece fried chicken, the skin part was good, but didn't finish the rest because it's pink. Please cook the chicken a bit more. My delivery was on time. Thank you.

Went to the restaurant this morning to get some breakfast, no one was at the counter to serve. There was a girl sitting on a stool/ chair and I called for service and she didn’t even as much as answer , she peeped out look at me and sit back comfortably, **HIRING PEOPLE LIKE THESE CAN RUIN YOUR GOOD BUSINESS**I will never buy food from this restaurant ever again. If they don’t value my business they won’t get it. I will be calling the management

It under new management. When I have visited the staff are friendly and polite. But upon walking into the restaurant you see that it needs a deep clean and some updating to their lobby ie. The mop line at the bottom that goes around the room ( the black markings), the glasses look greasy, the posting of no refunds may put a person off from ordering from here ( all the step you have to do to get a refund for unhappy customers is a bit much).

Ordered ackee and salt fish via Uber. Then this place calls and tells me they don't have it. This is the most basic of all Jamaican breakfasts! The person on the phone clearly had no clue of Caribbean culture or food because his substitutes" were not sensible. I canceled the order and was still charged 50% for "their time". A disgusting place. If you're Jamaican

Gave this place a second shot and regretted it more than my first time. I already had a poor experience in store with the unfriendly service and poor tasting rice and peas with fried chicken. This time I decided to try the curried chicken. It was poorly spiced and seasoned except for salt. It was so salty that I had to throw it out and again the rice and peas wasn't done properly, hardly any peas, no spice or coconut milk. I will never have food from here again. The salt really made me wake up feeling sick. Extremely poor, there's nothing Jamaican or Caribbean about food from Sunrise restaurants. Save yourself the trouble and spend your money elsewhere.

This has to be the most nastiest red peas soup I've ever come across. It smell sour, like vomit sour. When I got in my car I was wondering what the smell was but gave the entire bag the benefit of the doubt. Mind you I went and bought this soup cause my daughter was sick so it was for her. When I got home and went to open it and gave it a tiny taste, that soup was NOT at ALL GOOD. And smell and taste was so bad that lady should've known at the store. Especially if you are an elder serving the food. That entire bowl went the garbage.Apparently, if you ask for a fried chicken meal you don't get sides as a walk in customer but if you order on uber eats, you are offered steam veggies or coleslaw...as you can see I wasn't offered anything but rice and chicken. I will never support this local restaurant again. Plus you don't even get a hello...not worth it.

Edit: February 2023Went to grab a patty for a snack, the patty was not fresh or good. Restaurant is dirty, the window housing that the chicken is behind is dirty. Staff is not friendly at all.Lots of changes needed if the restaurant wants to continue doing business.===========================I got the jerk pork and it was way too salty.

Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant
Brought this thru uber eats bogo special for the month special .Overall pretty good .. jerk chicken and oxtail rice .. quality was good and the taste was very nice. Would definitely go back if it was not too far
