Bridge Woodworks

I had used Bridge Woodworks to install my fireplace over two years ago. Recently, it was not working and I had to get it serviced. Tried to call these people at Woodworks but they did not answer their phone. I finally got a hold of Daryl via email and we had setup a maintenance date where I had to wait for Ian from Abbottsford to show up at 9:00am. He showed up around 11:30am – more than two hours late. He looked at the fireplace and determined that the gas output was too high (required a regulator – this should really had been done during the installation) and the flame sensor needs to be replaced. So he ordered the parts and said he will have to come back when the parts arrive. That was January 9/20. It is now January 23/20, and I still do not have an install date. Frustrating to say the least.If you are purchasing a fireplace from these guys, I strongly suggest to look elsewhere as they do not have any concept of post product support. Also, when I first purchased the fireplace (not sure how I ever got through on the phone with them) their service was mediocre to say the least.

It was nice to deal with a business where you felt taken care of promptly, efficiently and where I never worried about not paying a competitive price for our gas fireplace insert.From Gail in the office to energetic Lisa who knows a lot about her product, And Ian and Darrell who took care of the installation, it’s just nice to know that their customer service does not end with the installation but is ongoing if needed. Not often you get that kind of service nowadays.

I am thrilled with the two mantels they installed. They are beautiful, and the price was fantastic (1/2 the price of Hazelmere, but the same quality). They also noticed that my recently installed kitchen cabinet doors did not line up straight, so they fixed those on the spot too for FREE! Super great guys, super great prices and products. I will definitely call them for any of my future woodworking or fireplace needs.

It was a great experience all around with Bridge Woodworks. It took no longer than a day to get everything sorted out. The constant professional communication was direct, precise, and on point. Lisa was very professional, helpful, and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone asking for such services.

We are disappointed in the service we have received. We have made at last four calls as well as a visit to their showroom in an effort to receive a quote on getting a new gas fireplace installed. Someone came out to our home to look at what they could do and then we were told to expect a quick follow up quote. After three calls over about a month after the visit and promises to get back to us in an hour, before the end of the day... crickets. Poor, sorry, no response.

I meet Lisa at the Vancouver Home Show and she was easy to talk with as well as knowledgeable. She directed me to the propane woodstove which I ultimately purchased.I spoke with her on the phone several times to clarify my questions as they came up. She was always cheery and helpful.My cabin was a new build and the installation was beautiful.I recommend this business because they helped me with my questions and then did exactly what they promised. That is something ei really respect!

My wife and I recently attended Bridge Woodworks to look for a new efficient gas fire place to replace our 35 year old one. The knowledgeable staff presented us with options that would easily replace our current one with no alterations to the existing mantel. An installation time was arranged and the installers arrived exactly as scheduled. The work was professional and our new fire place insert works like a charm, is super efficient, and looks great! I actually think one star is too much to give this company. Daryl runs the company, but a very very poor Professional Practice. Phone calls are not returned , phone text messages not answered. Days set up to come but have had several no shows!!! Communication what is that? This company will lie to you and then run away, not accountable. I would hire another company one that actually has better accountability and professional practiceVery disappointedThis company is a joke
