Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

When I parked next to the Econo Lodge, I was worried that the place may be abandoned. Granted, the hour was late, but knocking on the front door was no use. Luckily I noticed a sign on a box next to the door telling me to use the phone inside it to contact reception.The suite entry was from the back. With the car lights, I managed to find the right door. Once inside, the suite was alright. Clean, basic amenities, no frills and no extra costs. We wanted to ask for an extra blanket, but couldn't find anyone to ask. Eventually we found one ourselves. We got up in time for an early breakfast, but the dining room was closed despite the sign saying it should've been open. At least it was a short drive to the ferry.

Request a $600 deposit for moving tvs to see out window, when refused the owner called guests ghetto and trashy and had police come in the middle of the night without explaining what that deposit was for. Shady place and shady owner.Full story with pics on NB striped bass sport fishing" page"

The room is quite spacious. Free breakfast. Quite a ways from the city. The hotel itself could use some care!
