The Mortgage Centre

We've been trying to get a mortgage but these people don't call when they say they are going to, don't answer phone calls or emails. I have no idea what's going on. They took all our information and said they'd call us after looking at everything and we haven't been able to get a hold of them since. Would not recommend.

Never go see Joel at the Mortgage Centre. It has been the most horrendous experience I’ve ever experienced with any service provider. We started this process months ago with everything going fine, and 3 weeks before closing, he stopped responding to phone calls, emails, texts, voicemail messages. We had to start from scratch DAYS from the closing date with a new lender. We are now closing date, with NO HOUSE. We haven’t been provided with any explanation and still haven’t heard from Joel. Our dream house is in jeopardy and it’s all because of Joel. We have spent countless hours trying to juggle financing with a new lender, providing all new documentation and starting from scratch. During a pandemic and with two small children to boot. It has been a NIGHTMARE. Do not go to the mortgage centre. You will not be well taken care of here. I cannot emphasize the amount of additional stress this has created for me and my family. Run!

Save yourself and go somewhere else! You will be approved and everything will seem good until it is time to close and they will ghost you!! Out a lot of money because of this guy. We have had everyone we know try to contact him and he refuses to answer or call us regardless of the doezens of calls, voicemails, text messages, emails, and Facebook messages.

Was approved and was told that he will contact me as soon as the bank sends the documentation. All of a sudden Joel stops responding to emails, calls or texts. Most unprofessional situation I've ever been in. This will cost us thousands so we are getting a lawyer. I noticed many more people with similar comments. Anyone who has been financially impacted by Joel and the mortgage center who wants to join the legal proceedings please let me know. Joel should not be in a service industry.
