If you're returning a dozen empties for the deposit, be sure you don't get caught behind any of the career bottle/can collectors.I was lucky enough to hand in my 8 bottles and 8 cans JUST BEFORE some buy in the parking lot moved inside with his FOUR GREEN GARBAGE BAGS full of empties.I guess when you're downtown, it's part of the lifestyle. Yikes.

Beer Stores close at 5pm on a Sunday. Go to Wal Mart, Sobeys or Zehrs and buy till 10 pm. Also Beer Store does not open till 12pm on a Sunday. Can buy beer at 8 am at grocery stores. PS The Beer at Sobys is cold and from a fridge. Also can buybeer Mon to Fri from 8 am to 10 pm at a grocery store. I only go to Beer Store to return my empties. Thank you Rob Ford. The Beer Stores never update their website so make sure you call before going. OUST the BEER STORE!!!!!

It's one of the bigger Beer store in the city. Great central location. Good selections of beer is available. They have a decent selection of craft beers. Plus you can't beat the Midtown plaza entertainment there's always someone interesting around that area.

They have .5L singles imported German beer, celebrate Reinheitsgebot of 1516, German purity law. Some good beers, some good choices.
