Wonder, tasty food that took me back to Bavaria area in Europe. Staff was friendly, food was hot and service was quick. The atmosphere was wonderful with a European flair.It's easy to miss, but once found, it's a wonderful gem.

Baurenschmaus has been in the Williams family for decades and has been passed down from generation to generation starting all the way from the 70s to now. Baurenschmaus will always have you end up full, happy and content. Baurenschmaus brings our family together and we hope they bring yours together too.

Dining here is an experience not just a meal! Schnitzel was delicious. As a hobby chef I really enjoyed hearing it get pounded in the kitchen. Staff made you feel really welcome. 10/10 will definitely recommend to friends and eat here again!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!We arrived at the restaurant yesterday at 6pm, waited about 10 minutes before someone came to offer us something to drink, we ordered our food and it took almost 1-1/2 hours to get our meals. They brought us cold store-bought buns, I had to flag the server to get more coffee since we were ignored. When the food came, the meat and potatoes were almost cold and there were only four thick slices of carrots which you needed to cut to eat. The whole visit took 2 hours and my 89 year old mother was sick the whole night from what sounds like food poisoning. I had stomach cramps and diarrhea part of the night. Totally unacceptable service and food, for that kind of money, anywhere is better than here, NEVER AGAIN!

We finally made it out to this restaurant and I must say it's one of those restaurants that you might drive past everyday but not go into because it's not fronted to the road. Well if you're in the mood for some truly authentic Austrian/German cuisine and atm you should definitely go and check it out.The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food is excellent and authentic, it's like eating in Germany again.The service was also very good and its great to see that they have German speaking staff working there. The food came out quickly and hot.They also have some gluten free offerings available and an exceptional assortment of schnitzel.Would recommend checking it out as a couple or a larger group so you can try different items in the menu.

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! The food is consistently excellent and I have been coming to eat here for years. Food is fresh and you can tell it is made from scratch. The spaëtzel and strudel are home made, not brought in from wholesale supplies like other Germanic restaurants in the city. I could eat their rohtkohl everyday!! Such wonderful comfort food. I love the Bauernschmaus!! I would recommend making a reservation.

I can’t express how disappointed we were. It was three of us, we ordered just couple things, paid $200 and still hungry, it’s extremely overpriced place and you definitely don’t get what you pay for. If you will prepare this food in Europe you will be bankrupt in two weeks, maybe less. Schnitzels were so thin, you could almost see through them, same for breaded liver. The waitress was really nice and probably the only German part what you could find in this restaurant.

We were a party of two for a 5:30pm seating.Came down the road and there isn't a sign on the Northside of the building and I missed the turn off.Arrived after a quick couple of turn arounds to get into the parking lot. We had reserved patio seating, but when we went there, the traffic noise was pretty bad. Asked to be seated inside and got the table right in front of the restroom entrance.Ordered a couple of waters and a Warsteiner (out of the bottle). My wife wasn't that hungry. So she ordered the fresh garden salad and the Goulash soup. I ordered a cucumber salad and as well received a smaller garden salad as well. Next time I'll ask to maybe make a substitution. Although I received my daily helping of ruffage in one shot.I as well ordered the weiner schnitzel with quarter fries (French fries). Once my salad frenzy was complete I was in need of another Warsteiner and then my most delicious schnitzel arrived and I proceeded to devour it. In my haste I neglected to take a picture.I'll need to not make that same mistake on our next visit.Thanks a lot to the staff for a most enjoyable and pleasant evening.

I have been to this restaurant in the past and I have to say that the experience is just not the same as it once was. The food is boring, bland and utterly inedible and the service was incredibly slow. I was mortified that I took my German parents for their birthdays and none of us enjoyed the evening.
