Went there today and had to wait in line. Apparently their store rules are only one person in at a time. The store is large enough to accommodate more than that with lots of room for covid protocols. The individuals working were extremely rude. The lady kept rolling her eyes anytime we asked her for questions. We couldn’t even browse around without feeling like they were rushing us out. We asked where the herbs were sourced and if they were organic and the lady was extremely rude. She rudely replied “I don’t know probably China”. There’s no way of knowing if it was properly sourced or good quality. It was such a disappointment because my partner and I took a drive down and felt like we wasted our time. Especially with their service. Extremely disappointing.

Many people are writing glaring reviews, which I find very surprising. This place is so over-priced! I also find this business to be decidedly cold and feeling-less. It does NOT feel like a community-minded shop, at all. Go there for what you need, hope it's fresh and potent, and then leave. Don't expect to get any customer service whatsoever, by phone or in person. This place is driven by profit...which is abundantly clear by their lack of willingness to help customers or discuss ANY of the items on the shelves.

My favourite herb store! The asian lady working there is very helpful. She has recommended many herbs that have helped various ailments for myself and my family.

What a welcoming experience…. I tried to go in this morning with my service dog and the fella with white hair gave me a hard time. I showed him the certification and he question what it even was.He then let me take a step inside. I asked him for some lung herbs and he said nobody was here to give them to me. It’s hard to support stores like this when you’re treated so poorly. It is bad enough he didn’t want my money. Worse yet, he didn’t want to help me.

Terrible service. They limit capacity to one person at a time - the store is large enough to accommodate many more and still fall well within COVID guidelines. There was a lineup when I went, and the wait took so long that some people gave up and left. Sad to see a small business lose customers unnecessarily. The employee working was very helpful and informed me that they were following store policy. I hope the owner seriously considers revising their policy for a better experience moving forward.

There is no way of knowing what the quality is of the products they stock - one has to entirely trust them. I would think that much of it is perfectly fine, but where the powders are concerned I am now left very uncertain. I went on faith and bought a lot of product - excited by their large selection of hard-to-find products. When I purchased something online that I had purchased before from other suppliers (Reishi powder), I was confused to see that the colour of their product was a grey-straw colour (not brown or a shade of brown), and when I tried it, tasted NOTHING like reishi. It tasted of straw. I now don't feel that I can trust what they sell. And they were unwilling to give a refund on this product or to let me know who their supplier is - it could very well be repackaged straw for all I know. A pity. I wanted to love them.

This is the only place I trust to get herbs for myself, my children and clients. Ive used herbs from Herbies for my birth, pregnancy and postpartum healing. The customer service is beautiful. I trust everything they offer. Thank you!
