Had an amazing experience today at your salon. Obsessed with my new nails 10/10 recommend!

Manicurist didn't understand what I wanted, still charged me full price. Didn't even soak my nails before cleaning them and my cuticles ended up bleeding

I use to go to Nice One Nails, I always had a great experience. I recently went to GIOIA expecting the same service. They must have new staff. The nail tech didn't talk to me, or ask how I wanted my nails shaped. I told her I like my nails filed straight" and she didn't do that. I figured she didn't understand what I was staying. I felt rushed

Extremely unhappy with my acrylic nails, the lady did them so bulky and thick, she hurt my fingers several time I had to peel the skin under my nail from the tip because she used too much clue and pressure that my under nail skin was stuck for 2 days. I paid almost around 80 for this work that looks horrible. I’ve been there before for shellac with another employee and they did a fine job. I’m extremely unhappy as I don’t do my nails often and this was for my birthday. I also had asked for a manicure acrylic nail and they didn’t even manicure my nails before applying the acrylic.

I came here with no appointment to get my first ever set of gel extensions. They sat me right away, and the lovely gentleman who helped me was very professional and very precise. He didn’t rush and he made sure every detail was perfect!! Great experience, will definitely be back here in the future. :)

I got an acrylic fill and a pedicure and I am SO happy with the service! The staff was attentive and efficient and my nails look amazing! I will definitely be back!Edit: I switched to biogel and I’m still SO happy with the service I get here! I’ve added some more photos to the review for your enjoyment ✨✨

Van was lovely. Wonderful foot and leg massage.Have been going here for a while and only had great experiences. Would definitely recommend it for any nail service.

Won’t be returning. They don’t have their specific acrylic nail prices posted anywhere. Not on the website or in the shop. They tried to over charge me for a UV gel refill then I asked for a paper that has the prices on them, when I got the paper, I did the calculations myself and they indeed try to over charge me. I asked about the extra fees and every time I asked why I got charged the extra fee, I was given different reasons. None which applied to me. Essentially I paid more for a refill than a full set. On top of that, the lady that did my nails was very rough and burned me with the drill a few times. When I had requests on how I wanted my nails done, I was given attitude.Overall I will never be returning back.

I always book appointments at Gioia for my mani/pedis. I used to go to their King St location and when they moved to Joe Shuster I started coming here. They always give the best service and talk to me about nail health and safety.

The second time I’ve been and honestly everyone is so nice, it’s not high pressure, I feel relaxed and they really make sure you like your nails before you go ❤️❤️okay so i had to change my review after going a few times. first of all, i got a gel overlay but they filed my real nails down to absolutely nothing and put on an extremely thick coat. when i showed my friend (i am new to manicures) she was stunned. secondly, i was charged the same amount for a full new gel overlay set and a pedicure as just a gel overlay fill set. lastly, i got fungus on my toe right big toe nail and left hand third finger following my last service there. i soaked the gel nails off myself in fear of going back and i have huge dips and rings in my nails from where the gel used to be. they ruined my nails and damaged the integrity underneath. i’m really disappointed as they’ve accumulated almost $300 from me, gave me two infections and when you get a pedicure they don’t even take off the hardened skin. i don’t care that this place is so convenient, i’d rather go elsewhere.
