The largest lighthouse in Atlantic Canada a must see. The view is great as well as the history. A good chance for icebergs if you are there in that part of the season

Very impressive. 132 steps to the top!! Aggie was great as a tour guide! Well worth it! No admission so leave a donation if you can!

Unfortunately, the lighthouse was closed when we got there but we enjoyed the short walk to see the remnants of the HMS Raleigh.

Very cool lighthouse! Got there about 40 minutes before closing, and were told to go right up - so we did. All the way to the top of the 132 steps to reach the lamp! Facilities are great, and the guides were unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable. If you're in the area and are even just a little curious, go see it.

Great spot to stop by, check out the lighthouse, have a tour and learn about the history. You can do more though, by planning to go on the hike along the shoreline to the shipwrecks.

Sat, July 16, 2022 - Drove along a poor unpaved road that's under construction. Stopped twice each way for flagmen only to find it's closed and sorry for any inconvenience!!! Why don't you post this online?? Then the construction workers can get the road finished without constantly having to stop for tourists that are unaware it's closed and some tourists won't waste their time going.

A great experience here with how the lighthouses along the coast used to function. An opportunity to climb the 123 steps up to the lighthouse. A very nice museum, art galley and gift shop.
