What a lovely neighbourhood place, it feels so good to have that in these climes. The people sure make the place, they are kind and sweet and utterly professional. The food is so delicious! Like eating at home, rich, healthy tasty soups and exquisite flatbread. Coffee, awesome. And the atmosphere, I love it! Zen, so so zen. Thank you so much, Renaissance ❤️

Renaissance Café in Coal Harbour in Vancouver is a hidden gem (that classy-looking logo is truly eye-catching, in my view). The cannoli they had all looked like they were prepared well and looked delicious. I tried their salted caramel cannoli which went really well with that delicious cup of Americano they make. The atmosphere at Renaissance Café is lovely, welcoming and bright too, making it a cosy place to have you first cup of coffee of the day. One of Coal Harbour’s best cafés for sure!

This cafe is located at the West Pender Street. I visited there on Saturday and the street was quiet. It was not difficult to find this cafe. The front door and interior follows the modern European style. It is spacious inside, bright and warm.As it was a cold day, I love to enjoy a bowl of hot soup so I ordered a bowl of cream of mushroom soup, The Davinci, a cup of London Fog and some cannolis. In particular the Cream of Mushroom Soup was impressive. Not only the rich taste of mushroom impressed me but also the rich portion of ingredients. You'd definitely get more mushroom in every sip. Mushroom lovers should give it a try!The Davinci was nice too. Personally I love salami sausage and it tasted authentic like what I got in Europe. For the cannolis, compared to those I had in Sicily, it is softer. The level of sweetness is just right. Some cafes may make it too sweet. To me it is just right and I like it.The servers were cheerful and served me gently and politely. As a first time comer, they suggested the right cannolis for me to try and share with my wife.I will definitely visit this cafe again.

Conveniently located with very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Particularly love their pretzel bun which is simply perfectly made with the just right temperature, texture and taste. A great cafe for brunch to start a day of work and I definitely should come again!

It is a hidden, but a great Cafe at Coal Harbour. Most of the first-time customers do not aware their signature tasty and colorful foods: cannoli. Try it out. You will love it. Perfect match with their coffee drinks.

I was walking down W Pender and decided to stop in for a quick treat before meetings. Their cafe is not easy to spot but expect delicious food from lovely people. Their baked in-house Venetian cannolis are not the same as the well-known Sicilian cannoli. Venetian cannolis contain a creamy filling encased by a dense flaky baked shell. After trying a cannoli, I decided to order the egg frittata, ham, and cheese croissant sandwich (Renaissance 2). I got up and ordered a third time to try their mushroom soup. The sandwich and soup complemented each other well. I could taste the mushrooms in each sip I took. The food is delectable and they have new flavours of cannolis every week.
