Excellent location! It meets our needs: the school, parks, shops, lake, the culture of Burlington... just steps away you have it all. The building is best suited for a couple or family with one child. It can get a little cramped with more than one child: minimal storage space. But, it is a secure and quiet space for those in transition. The neighbours are kind, quiet and hard-working.The apartment has all of the basics and the onsite washing. We love the little gym. The apartment team (CLV group) is solid and responsive. This is a respectable, calm home away from home.

EDIT MARCH 21 2017: I was contacted by head office to resolve and rectify the issues we've encountered with the staff at the New St office. The woman I spoke with was very courteous and was extremely compromising on work in together to fix the problem. I hope the rest of our lease will go as smoothly as my experience with head office.From day 1 living in the unit our experience with CLV has been abysmal. They've sprung hidden fees on us, have taken out rent 4 times in the course of TWO months resulting in NSF on my credit as well as my account being out money. Whenever I try to contact the office to figure out what the hell is going on, NO ONE contacts me and I have to start flushing everyone out via text and email to even get a response.Very seriously regretting signing a lease with this company..

Recently moved into this building and reviewing it after a month-long stay.Rating for the realtor - 5 StarI was guided by CLV realtor Kim Campbell, she was amazing from the beginning. She guided me so kindly and professionally and will thank her for giving me a peaceful place for my family.Review about the apartment.Pros,# Proximity to GO station, Walmart, Lakeshore, Central Public school, and Burlington downtown.# CLV maintains it well. Every day, cleaning is happening.# Ample space for parking.# My suite has good ventilation, my living room and my bedroom get enough sunlight and air.# Spacious kitchen layout.# Decent occupants.# Peaceful neighborhood.Cons,# Small elevator.# Outdoor parking, no covered/indoor parking.

We had a great experience with Jody Frame, she made the apartment hunting and application process very easy, she was a pleasure to work with! Jody followed through on everything she said she would and we are happy to be living at 700 Ross Street!

Working with everyone at CLV has been fantastic. My son was able to get his first apartment and they were all very helpful and responsive in making this happen. Brittany and Carmen were especially exceptional and very responsive - a big thanks!

From my first connection with Jody from CLV, I knew I was in good hands, with her warm vivacious personality and her professional demeanor Jody made me feel at ease and believed that she was someone that I wanted to connect with whilst looking for an apartment. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me to locate an apartment that was perfect for my location request. She constantly kept in touch with me and followed up on everything that she said she would do and it has resulted in me getting the apartment that I wanted. When looking for an apartment it can be a daunting cold process, however Jody has flipped that on its head. She was genuinely pleased to help me and made it known that she will do whatever she can to ensure a positive experience and I can happily report that this is exactly what I received. Jody is a legend!

So my friend and I looked at this place and decided we wanted to rent it. Not only was the coordinator (Patrick Sherwood) more than helpful, but the moment we put in last month's rent as a [refundable] deposit he told us they stopped looking for anyone else until we are accepted or not. Aces on that alone, the number of times Ive lost out on an apartment due to the landlord/company taking on all comers is more than I'd ever like. Beyond that, Patrick was helpful along the entire way, and has been nothing but accommodating and (importantly to me) human during the entire process. I have literally zero complaints about the whole experience and really wish finding a place and renting was always this stress-free.

!!PLEASE READ!! These apartments get constantly hit by burglars and the head office will do NOTHING about it. They will NOT compensate! Please reconsider living in this place until this gets resolved. Bicycles, Lockers and Cars alike are targeted! ((UPDATE)) Cameras have been placed, we can only hope they help the situation and put a stop to the crime. Entrance locks have also been changed to key cards.

Nobody actually works here.Update : last week CLV entered my unit for no reason without any warning and left my door open and unlocked all day.Paid our rent and hydro on time every time.Then CLV calls us out of the blue saying we haven’t. After that I couldn’t get a single person on the phone other then a office clerk that knew nothing.Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone when you need help.update : when you move out they will attempt to charge you for cleaning (when we moved in our apartment was disgusting) yet they try to charge us for cleaning, also they sent us a fabricated price for repairs which did not match their price list for repairs, as well they sent us a fraudulent eviction notice ( one employee said due to a software malfunction and another said due to human error) while trying to lie to cover it up.This is a classic example of a large corporation attempting to lie and steal from their customers.Do not rent here

Do NOT rent here! The apartments are all full of bugs & smoke smell. The clv group do not reply to any emails about your concerns. For the price, you can rent way nicer places in Burlington, that are kept clean & have better service. There is no ac, and they keep the heat on which you have no control over until the end of June. You still however have to pay for hydro even though you can't control anything inside your apartment. Any packages you order WILL be stolen out of the mail room! You can call complain email nobody will ever reply. I have made multiple emails, phones call nobody has ever gotten back to me.*EDIT* the entire place is infested with ants, property management will blame YOU! Even the mailroom has them crawling all over the walls. I still have yet to hear back from anyone months later.
