I got a Fly and Dine offer as a birthday surprise for my wife. It was beyond expectations. People there are smiling, are very opened and helpful, unlike many places in GTA. Our pilot was Brandon, simply a great guy. When I said I am also interested in pilotage and want to learn it in time, he described with details what he was doing. He also played a role of a guide, describing the view, which BTW was outstanding. We went to Deerhurst resort, Brandon waited for us there and we flied back. Then we had a great time in Tailwinds restaurant, just next door. If you like flying and want to get a beautiful experience I strongly suggest to visit them :)

Float training on 172's brings all the stability and dependability to the table here, coupled with the schools high regard for safety and ground training made this a perfect place to learn how to fly on floats in various conditions.Secluded lake right beside an active airport was a nice mix. Helps keep you on your toes without too much going on to inhibit the learning process. Very highly recommend this place.Rick Jacob are great instructors as well Pip and Mike are very helpful with years of experience to ensure everything goes as planned. Get on the waiting list now or perhaps you may be waiting till spring. Very busy large demand for their services.

My son entrusted his float-plane training to LCA. They went above and beyond to ensure he was successful in his mission in obtaining his seaplane rating. Overall extremely satisfied, and will be back for more training. Thanks guys! EDIT: My son did indeed come back for the 25 hour Career Bush Pilot training. It was the same extremely high level of training and service. Thanks again guys!

Grand Experience! Staff were superb and incredibly kind and helpful. They even altered routes based on local places we mentioned were significant to us and they made the effort to show us them and many other amazing perspectives of popular areas or terrains. Ride was smooth and just a wonderful pleasant way to gaze from the sky. Will certainly be returning! :D

Lake Country Airways operates amazing private charter and float plane tour services! While safety is always a priority, they commit to working with you to accomplish your request swiftly and cost effectively. Lake Country Airways is cheaper then most charter/tour company's in the area, they have a very qualified pilots and knowledgeable staff. Lake Country Airways has a great airport environment, with Orillia Aviation, maintenance shop available next store, and Tailwinds bar and Grill down the hall, I highly recommend Lake Country airways for everyone, pilot or not. If you are a pilot and looking for your float rating, or someone who has dreamed of flying, Lake Country Airways has a flight school that can teach you to fly normally or with floats! Their Fleet is amazing, consisting of 3 Cessna 172, 2 Cessna 185, 2 DeHaviland Beavers (built in the 1950's!) , 1 Turbo Beaver and soon a Cessna 206. I have flown in both Beavers, they are very comfortable the pilots were amazing!

Booked a fall colours tour for my parents anniversary. Emailed months in advance and almost every week called to confirm the flight was still a go and no schedule changes.On the day of the flight I get a call 45 minutes before the flight saying they cannot land near my parents cottage and ask my parents to drive 30 minutes to the airport.They were apologetic and offered a discount which I do appreciate however could have been a bit more organized rather than leave it 45 minutes before the flight.Parents loved the flight and said the pilot was very informative and let them fly for additional time due to the mix up.

Melaine and Sol were very helpful in arranging flight and suggesting the woodland camp for my proposal. Chad was very experienced and knowledgeable pilot!
