Wow. Simply wow. Mexico just reopened after being closed for a few months. They have a new chef, new menu, and are forging a new path in the dining industry. Every item we had was made fresh to order and included the chef coming to table side! Fantastic service. I highly recommend the fish taco and the spicy margarita!

Oh boy, once in a while you come across something that just smacks your senses alive and this place is one of those. As soon as you walk in the aromas grab a hold of you and carry you away like pepe le pew on the scent of a female skunk. Your mouth begins to water. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere that is very casual and has an authentic feel to it. Simple menu, but everything on it is made from scratch; nothing packaged/processed here. Even the taco shells, salsas and sauces are restaurant made (awesome too I must add). Margheritas were as good as the food, which was spectacular. Such a wonderful burst of flavour in every bite! Presentation was great and complimented the atmosphere. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. They make you feel extra comfortable and welcome. All for reasonable and affordable prices. Must go experience this little wonder!

The food is really delicious. We had several dishes and they were all note worthy. Only 4 stars as the service although very friendly was a bit slow especially given we were only 1 of 2 tables there.

A home cooked meal with a Mexican twist.True Mexican dishes make it onto the menu here, rather than the TexMex style most places serve.Cozy atmosphere and great drinks make this a favorite destination.

Loved this place! Cozy, super friendly, nice tea selection, really decently priced, delicious food - I wish it were in Toronto! My pal and I had a great time gabbing away over avacado toast and huevos rancheros. We got there around 11:00ish and it was empty - but within the hour it was full up - with a mix of families, seniors, millennials - a wide demographic. Would go back to Sarnia for this place!

We went to “Mexico “ tonight for dinner and it was fantastic! It was our first time back since the new owners took over.The food was great, portions were great and the service was also great.We will definitely be going back here again and again..Give it a try, you will love it.

I love supporting local. However bad food is bad food. Stone cold food. Nacho’s stone cold for a Mexican place you’d expect some of the best nacho’s ever super sad. Tacos cold Sour. Doesn’t have a drink menu but can tell you all about it. Doesn’t try and help you order. I don’t know how they are making money. There’s no money in just food. Mostly in drink. Better figure it out guys or you’ll close sadly. Find someone to manage that place.

I never write reviews but my experience here last night was a real shame. It took an hour and 20 mins for us our order of 5 tacos, 1 guacamole/ chips, and a ceviche. We ended up having to ask for them to just directly bring our meal when ready is take out boxes, because we were now late for our show at the theatre.We were apologized to for the wait, and told they took off a couple items on the receipt for the inconvenience. Once we walked out the door, we realized not only did they take it off the receipt… they just didn’t give us the items hahahaTacos were dry, bland, and my fish taco didn’t have any fish on it.Super disappointing. Not sure what the heck they’re doing over there.

Did takeout, service was good. Tacos were okay, they're not authentic but are good if you're in a pinch. Ordered tacos, burrito and chips/guacamole.

Very disappointing! Started out great. We ordered and the waitress was fun at first then got irritated with us as while waiting for our meals they opened the door. Most of our table of 10 were getting cold by the breeze. I seen at another table a man shivering while in the corner the friends of the place were warm as they were behind the door. We asked to shut the door as we did close it twice but the waitress went back and opened it. She stated no the manager wants it open then said I will tell her. Our food finally came out and of course mine was wrong but said nothing as the waitress went and sat at another table while our food was coming out. My food was Luke warm inside and freezing on the outside due to the door being open. The manager finally came over and asked how it was and of course we didn’t want to sound like complainers we just asked her to close the door. She stated well the other side has a DJ over there and it’s warm so they need it open. No regard for anyone on the side it was cold and paying to eat. She then sighed and said only for 15 minutes then closed it and went to complain to the friends in the restaurant! The waitress accused my mom of yelling at her in fact when she didn’t and kept saying it like a victim. We tried to laugh it off. I’m completely shocked this place has business. I will never ever be going there again along with the group I was with. I will be telling the company I work for locally here not to bring any of our patrons here! Absolutely terrible all around!
