Shoppers Drug Mart

Shame on Shoppers for now requiring a postal code in order to view their flyer! Obviously, collecting personal info about customers is more important to you than retaining them. A store location was already selected, so there's no good reason to require a postal code while on that store's site.

NOT RECOMMEND!!! By far the worst shoppers drug mart pharmacy in town. I've used 4 other shoppers drug mart in town for the last 30+ years and this branch is the most unreliable, unorganized and overworked staff. You call them and confirm if the prescription is ready and when you get there it's not ready. Then they force you to stay so that the pharmacist can go over the same medication you've had for years to be discussed again. A quick pickup process will take you 40min at this location. Also, if you're reading this review and you work from this branch location, save your apologies and feedback to learn from this mistakes. We know your branch are not doing anything about it to make improvements.

I don’t normally leave reviews or complain, but after today I have to speak up. I went in to see the pharmacist to get a prescription (for a common issue I have chronically). The clinician deliberately misdiagnosed me to my face and I only found out later when I questioned one of the other pharmacists what was put on my patient file.More context: I booked an appointment for an issue I have and get frequently, knowing full well what it feels like. The clinician told me it was something different and to go to the ER. I saw a doc and got a second opinion, which confirmed my suspicions. I went back to get the prescription filled and asked what was in my patient chart. The pharmacist told me it was charted I had a suspected case of this issue, and that I was advised to go to ER/clinic. Not to mention only 2 out of 6-7 symptoms were charted.The condition I was told I had can be treated with OTC medication and with antibiotics in more extreme cases.All other service I’ve had here was fine. But this one instance is making me consider changing pharmacies altogether.

Horrible experience. When filling prescriptions it takes at least two days to fill whether submitted in person or online. Numerous times they didn’t have the amount of medication to fill my prescription ( having to go back another day to get .)A prescription had to be kept in the fridge so the pharmacist said she would hold on their temperature regulated/controlled fridge. When I went to pick it up the prescription was not there. I notified the manager Scott Ford and advised him of the situation to which he apologized however when you need the medication in a time sensitive matter that offers little resolution. Would not recommend this pharmacy. Too busy to fill prescriptions is an accurate and timely manner .

I don’t have a problem with the store. My problem is the flyer. It is not very user friendly! The pages don’t stay together. The narrow pages don’t stay attached to the other pages and it keeps falling apart when turning the pages. The Metro flyer has a narrow page at the front, but the pages are attached at the inner seam so they don’t fall apart when pages are turned. You should give it a try!

Dealt with one of the Pharmacist, Andrea. She was very professional, empathetic, and ultimately showed a lot of care (a rare thing these days). My wife is sick at home and she worked with me to see what we can do for a prescription for her specific needs. Truthfully I didn’t expect her to spend the time triaging the symptoms and situation, but she did, with care. Definitely one of the best health experiences we’ve had in a long while. Thanks Andrea.

Pharmacy was very helpful in helping me get my renewal same day, despite a busy day because of the holidays and the staff have always been very nice.Including answering the phone quickly and moving quickly in general.

Very pleased with the professional service I received from Andrea . I’m so glad that l decided to go to shoppers. Went Saturday evening received my prescription 1 hour later , started my medication that evening and now that it’s Sunday I feel so much better. Gives me the comfort to know I won’t be missing a days work ! Andrea save me time going to a clinic and feeling terrible. I highly recommend Andrea for your health ! What a convenience to be able to go to your pharmacy to get help. We all should be thankful we have this service.Thanks again Krista

Good location. Jessica helped me find my perfect Cologne. Best employee Shoppers has. Goes above and beyond. The rest of the staff are also great. Good selection of products and always stocked well.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for close to a year now for a monthly prescription. Every single time there is an issue. I'm either not informed it's ready for pick up, or when I arrive after I've been told it's available for pick up I get here and it's nowhere to be found.Most recent issue was they didn't scan out my last prescription, so it looked like I never picked it up, even though I did. I couldn't automatically ask for a refill on the app either because it didn't look like I got my last month's supply.When I hadn't been informed my prescription for this month was ready to go, I called to see if it was ready, they said it was... But when I showed up they realized the last one hadn't been scanned so it was in fact NOT ready for pick up. I've been sitting waiting for almost an hour to get my prescription.Last time, they said it would be ready, surprise, suprise, it wasn't so they had to give me a 3 day supply to get me through until they could get my meds in for my full month supply.The time before there was a computer malfunction while they were getting me my prescription, so it looked like I'd recieved my meds when I hadn't. They couldn't figure out how to fix the system and release the meds to me so I had to leave empty handed. I'm pretty sure I came to the pharmacy three times to get that one prescription during that fiasco.I'm not kidding when I say there has been an issue every time I have to come in. I dread it but know I need to pick up these meds to function...I'm switching pharmacies after today. This is ridiculous, it should not be this hard.
