Kind of small but really cool to be able to access real fossils and read about them at the university. Has two tables and can be a great study space due to the quietness and the size of the museum.

There is an excellent collection of prehistoric materials here ranging from the stromatolites and the first signs of life on Earth to full skeletal reconstructions of large dinosaurs. Walking the perimeter will take you from the dawn of life to the not-so-distant past, with an impressive amount of full skeletons, fragments, interactive/hands-on items, and enough information to keep you engaged for an hour. Free entry, there are tables to study at, quiet atmosphere. I would also recommend checking out the also free to enter mineral museum just down the hall, there’s a beautiful assortment of all kinds of rocks and minerals and crystals!

Great museum. Was there in 2019. But is it open now?

Small but mighty. The wees were excited. Even more so by the rock museum down the hall. The 10.month old was thrilled with the exhibits at her level.

I was amazed at the sheer number of hidden basement museums on campus, this has to be one of the best.

Free! A little hard to find but go into the basement and look for signs. The museum is more learning and less commercial focused. You can touch many of the items. The geology mineralogy museum is a few doors down and worth your time. You can see both in an hour.

The exhibition is not big, but very interesting. You can touch some of the exhibits. There is also a room with a good collection of stones and minerals.

Came here with my students for a field trip. The guide was great and interacted with the students well. She kept them engaged and showed them different fossils from different periods. Explained them and gave the students a chance to feel. A scavenger hunt was organized which gave the students something more tangible to do. More time for the hunt would have been better but we were short on time too.

Be warned the museum is inaccessible due to Covid. They have locked their buildings down and after paying $5.50 for parking we were unable to get in at all. Quite a shame because it looks super cool.
