Terrible experience - Worst supplier and service ever. No communication (French only), Delayed (supplier issues) , 3 times installers brought WRONG product, wrong specs, wrong hardware, wrong color. Company works with a group of different contractors and suppliers, but does not communicate. From August 31st till June 6th (9 months) I've been waiting, and finally, all this time, prep, and money deposit..WASTED. I needed to replace my three doors (all glass) that are part of my front living room. I got a quick sales call and quote, on August 31st 2017. On October 3rd 2017 (one month later), I got the work order and contract. I was told window and product would take 6 weeks to produce, and by end-of-November 2017, I should have my Doors.November came and went, and I did not get ONE update call from the vendor. After calling through to the sales guy (Michel Gagnon) in December, Mr. Gagnon would not even tell me any news, and said I had to go direct to Portes et Fenetres Verdun. what?? He said he was just the sales guy, and had nothing to do with delivery or order update. After digging through the phone network, I got in contact with someone who told me the doors were delayed because of the Glass being on back order., and someone would come install the doors in mid-February. (Mid-February, like when it's -25C out? ok, sure! ) After arranging to have the doors installed in mid-March (with only -10C out) , we still had to cancel 3 times, due to snow, sub zero temperatures. (to be fair, not their fault).Finally in May, the team came to install the doors, and they had the wrong parts and pieces, and structure was not to specifications. Another 6 weeks later, on June 6th the Portes et Fenetres team arrived again, this time the main door had two holes drilled into it, (there should only be one). The door handle hardware was wrong, and the color of the door was a totally different hue (original door is warm grey) replacement door was yellow beige. Now, after 9 months, I have to start all over, contacting contractors, getting bids, and will probably not get replacement until September, at this rate. Portes et Fenetres Verdun - you FAILED! and - if you can not or do not want to work with customers in English, please, save us all time, and refuse business from anglo and allophones. As a non-native Francophone speaker, getting service and truly understanding one another was a nightmare. 9 wasted months, 3 visits, no communication (unless I called YOU). My only recommendation to anyone looking to do business with this company is DON'T !PHOTOS: Just needed three doors. One hole on the old door / two holes on the replacement door. Color-blind color matching, I've had my home covered in cardboard and paper, furniture packed away, and prepped for the past 9 weeks waiting for the work to be done.

My experience with this company was just short of a nightmare. The worst experience you could have with a vendor is a awesome sales rep who is very attentive and helpful before you sign the turns 180 once you sign... and this is almost exactly what happened to us. We stuck through it and got the windows installed and decided we'd never use them again but what pushed me to write this review was when we asked for the necessary information to claim government rebates they couldn't provide it. Because if them I lost rebates for half by triplex!If you can, avoid them!

Worst service I ever had!!!Although their windows are good quality, their installation is the worst .On one occasion they dropped the window, dented the hardwood floor and cracked the glass. Took them 3 weeks to replace glass and in the meantime at -12C weather they just put a plastic to cover. Froze for 3 weeks. finally received the window only for it to be the wrong size. They forced it in and cracked it. Had to replace again but at least it replaced the plastic. Another 2 week wait. following year replaced more windows .Living window was short by 10 inches. Had to wait another 1 month1/2. The whole time they made me feel like I was disturbing them.Then we noticed that the screen panel was missing on the window they had installed the previous year. Granted we should have checked but it being winter we didn't pay attention. They actually made me pay for the screen that they didn;t give me. I have had many more windows installed but I never even considered calling them again. Too bad because they do have good quality windows

Had an old glass block window replaced on the facade of our apartment rental building in Rosemont by a thermos glass with small lower sliders for air circulation. Their pricing, coordination, and installation was on point and very professional. I highly recommend this company as well as their sale rep Michel Gagnon.

After-sales services do not exist with this company... stay away if you are not looking for future headaches.I bought some sliding doors a few years ago, and some of the the sliding door pieces broke off after few years of wear and tear... 10+ calls later, they keep transferring me to a voicemail that does not call back, it's been 2 weeks now, and they seem not to care much for any after sales services.

I do not recommend this company at all!!From the beginning there were only delays.When we signed the contract they told us all will be placed before the end of the year. Ofcourse this was just a sales talk to get us to sign with them and not the other company we had in mind.A couple of months later they finally came to instal the windows, as I went to check the windows I found that one if them was cracked.They finsished up and told me it would be replaced I a couple of days.Well, days became months!!! 2 times they came back to replace and finish up some details. First time around they did not have the enough to do the caulking and the window was wrong. Second time he had the products, but because they let you know last minute, the tenant was not home and could not take a day off again, so refused entrance.We called him and they promised to contact the tenant and make an appointment. 6 months later we are still waiting!!!! And on top of that when we called today they told us, because they don't have enough clients in Montreal they are not able to come and change the window. They do not want to come after 4 because of traffic. So, you pay a fortune for them to tell you well too bad, you'll just have to wait.!!! Do not do business with this company unless you want to wait for an installation for the rest of your life!The (horror) story continues!After emailing and calling they finally came to fix the problems.. or better supposedly, because when the technician came he didn't know what to do?? AND he didn't have the window that needed replacement for the 3rd time in a row. I mean, i can't take this company serious anymore. After finding out that the technician came empty handed, we called back and forth and they promised they would send the replacement window by taxi. When arrived it didn't fit.. did he come and notify me as the owner living downstairs? No. They just left with an appointment in another month taken with our tenants. Telling them you know the problem of condensation in between the window (second problem) when it occurs again take a picture.." We paid a lot of money

Just had our ancient back door replaced and we are delighted with the outcome!Philip Lecompte, the salesman at the branch in Kirkland, was super helpful to begin the process and the installation crew led by Cole Solarik was very professional, pleasant and did a beautiful job! Thank you, good people!

We weren't sure originally when we went with these guys because we had seen two other companies and this one was the most affordable.Side note - one of the companies was Solarcan - who were charging more than 50% more for a similar product...when I tried to reach the salesman at Solarcan so he could explain the difference, he asked to see my estimate and then never got back to me. Seemed absolutely ridiculous to me...Anyway, in the end, we did not regret our choice. We have an old duplex in Cote des neiges with wooden cases on the inside that we wanted to keep. They made a plan so we could keep all the original work on the inside. It was installed on time, which was important for us because we were expecting a new baby a few weeks later. One of the installers even took time to give me advice on how to fix up the window frame above my door. The service was great and the windows look great.Only comment I would give the installers - please remove the stickers from the windows before leaving! The stickers are on the outside and are impossible to take off from the inside. That means we need to pull out a ladder to get to the second floor and remove them (We don't currently have a ladder...but we do have stickers on our windows...)Thank you!

The review continues its not over yet as stated earlier my husband got a call from Richard Nadeau he explained that the installation will be done by tomorrow he is a nice helpful person, will wait for Installation team tomorrow that is 25 th september 2018 hopefully there should be no installation issues or further issues or quality issues, will keep you all updated about our Customer Experience with PFV Longueuil and the star rating of this organisation

Rude and unwelcoming!I stopped in yesterday to have a quick look at the finishings and countertops as I am starting a kitchen remodel and the style of their kitchens looks fantastic on their website.The polite lady on the front desk informed me that I would need an appointment to discuss kitchens in detail but to go ahead and look around the showroom.2 minutes later I was confronted in a very rude tone by Ariane - What are you doing here?
