Goderich Main Beach
Wonderful accessible boardwalk, playground and beach area. No bathrooms open though, Beach Street Restaurant did not object to us using them. Clean and nice benches and shady spacesLots of parking but still probably not enough on hot summer days. So cool to watch the freighters at the Salt Mine too. Of course there are the best sunsets too!

Beautiful! This beach definite seems to be popular. The playground is wonderful, though a bit of a suntrap. The boardwalk is a lovely stroll. It's fun getting to look at the large ships, as well.

If you’re in the area with kids, this is a must stop! The current Google maps satellite doesn’t do it justice, as this area has been modernized and is very clean. The nice sand, playground and water will make you feel like you’re at a Florida beach. The large ship dock/port beside it does make it feel a little ominous but it makes the area unique compared to other beaches. They don’t allow dogs on the main beach but there is a dog section further down the trail/road.

Gorgeous beach. Main Beach way not cluttered with tiny tourist trap stores which is really nice. I believe the boardwalk is over 1km long. Multiple playgrounds. Accessible fitness equipment. A great beach for anyone, except maybe dogs. I didn't see a section that was dog friendly, but I didn't look too hard. I saw a golden eagle soaring over the lake.

One of the best beaches I have been to in a while. Crystal clear water, very calm soothing atmosphere and lot to offer for family. Fell in love with the sunset at this beach, absolutely mesmerizing. Ample parking spots which is paid from 9am to 5pm and free after those hrs.

Quick visit, didn't stay long. We mainly just drove around the coast to see the view. Not a lot of people, but I saw a few parked with their windows cracked open. It was early April and still a little chilly. I heard it gets packed around summer, though!Birds were friendly. The photos weren't zoomed in, bring them something nice!
