Had haddock and chips and cod and chips lunch specials. Both were good. An order of battered mushrooms as an app was a very pleasant surprise.

The fish was really good. Nice and light, not too greasy and big portions. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was a bit lacking but only one waiter for whole place. Would go back again

My go to for fish and chips. Where else can you get Halibut at a affordable price. Very simple place, kind servers and always clean. A older crowd that appreciates the prices. You have to try the Halibut. The cod is also good.

I've been told for years this is the best fish and chips around, unfortunately that was not my experience. The food was bland and unseasoned, oil pooled on my plate. The tartar sauce tasted like it was just miracle whip and sweet green relish mixed together. 2 out of 10 I do not recommend.

Great spot to drop in. Fish was crispy battered outside and fresh tender/flakey inside. Fillets were oversized for their menu labels, compared to other fish'n'chip venues. Service was spot on. Will definitely return!

Terrible, don't waste your time and money. Worst service I've ever seen. The waiter saw us standing at the front of the restaurant waiting for seating and did acknowledge us until we asked to be seated, we were then told we would be brought menus. We watched for several minutes as he serve other patrons and took orders of people who walked into the restaurant after us.Don't spend your hard earned money here!

We did a large two pieces take out order and my wife and I split it no problem. Delicious! The fish was the perfect balance of fish to batter ratio where the fish is not overwhelmed with batter. We’ll definitely be back.

This has become one of my go-to spots in Waterloo. After trying a few other places nearby, I would say this is the highest quality fish and chips among them. Such a simple and perfect product, truly.The fish taste fresh and the breading is light and as the name suggests, perfectly golden. The fries taste fresh cut and are absolutely beautiful- not too oily either, a sign of being shaken well and not rushed. The coleslaw is fresh and not overly dressed. I get the large haddock meal.I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. This is a great and underrrated spot in Waterloo!
