Malleable Mutts Dog Training

We had Ashley come to our house for a total of four sessions because we were looking for specific training for certain issues with our dog. We had previously taken a puppy class elsewhere but felt it wasn’t as useful as one-on-one training would be. I could not be happier with the service that Ashley provided. She spent a significant amount of time with us and we never felt rushed. She answered all of our questions and gave us specific activities we could do with him. I would highly recommend her service!

We are so thankful for Malleable Mutts! We have a very rambunctious and vocal 10 months old Bernese who is easily over excited. Ashley came in and taught us how to use clear boundaries that our guy understood to get him into a calmer state of mind. Ashley knows her stuff, and explains her training and the reasons behind each step in a clear and understandable way. We went from feeling things were impossible to seeing that with consistency and confidence our training goals were achievable. Ashley started working with my new puppy and we have continued with her small group play dates as well as some private training.I couldn’t be happier. We enrolled our one year old dog for private training and have had a wonderful experience. The improvements are significant and could be seen quickly. Ashley has gone above and beyond to make sure that we understand what we should be doing and why. She also spends lots of time with you at each session. We have two young children that have participated in the training and she was very kind to them and was able to involve them in age appropriate ways. I would highly recommend private training and wish I had done it sooner!

Ashley helped us with our two young dogs who were experiencing some behavioural issues. With only 4 sessions our dogs were doing amazing and we all learned so much! All in all this was a very positive experience and well worth the investment!

We had pretty much run out of ideas as to how to manage our sweet, but overly enthusiastic and reactive dog, Zu Zu, when we signed up for private lessons with Malleable Mutts. Given Zu Zu is already 6 years old, we really weren’t sure if another class would help, but were really hoping that something could change for the better. Every week for a month, Ashley provided clear directions and patient feedback to guide us through specific exercises and practices to redefine our relationship with Zu Zu. She also helped us to recognize our own roles within our pack and to reclaim our leadership. After only four weeks, we are well on the road to having a calmer, more controlled, and more obedient member of the household. We also now have the confidence, the optimism, and the tools to continue working with Zu Zu to expand her range of experiences, giving us all a much happier existence. More importantly, we know Malleable Mutts will continue to provide us with ongoing support through the availability of online resources and group walks. We can’t emphasize enough what a worthwhile investment this was for us - thanks a million, Ashley! You truly have an amazing gift and special talent for connecting dogs with their people and we are so grateful for that!

After my first session I was 100% sold. Ashley walked into the situation with my dog, was able to immediately identify what was happening, and gave simple to follow advice. It was an absolute relief and brought order back into my home.

Ashley from Malleable Mutts was recommended to me as a trainer for our spaniel, Ginger and I am so thankful she was! Ashley is the best trainer, honestly the best one in central Alberta. I know I’ve tried them all!! I have a six year old sheltie who loves to chase cars and I couldn’t walk him anywhere near cars since he was about a year old. Not anymore. I can take him for walks again! Ashley is soo amazing the first trainer that has helped me get results with him on this. She’s really helped him and I bond even more. Don’t hesitate. You need her even if your just starting out.
