I am on the national do not call list. Apparently these people don't bother to check or just completely ignore that. Report them when they call.

I am a public school teacher and received a phone call in my classroom on a school day from Trend Research. This is a distraction to the learning of our students. Please examine the process of gathering your random" numbers."

Lady on phone started talking Immediately however was well into the conversation and could not tell me what the research questionaire was about.Thinking it was Fraud or very Shady at the least I asked if I could fill out questionnaire online as I was busy.First I was told yes and was given the research general website . Then when I asked What Questionaire I was looking for the Lady was very confused and did not understand what I was asking .I explained a few times to the caller that you just told me I could do the questionnaire online so what am I looking for on your site ?Since the caller changed her answers and did not seem schooled or trained in what she was doing I asked for a supervisor, no supervision was available .I asked how they got my private cell number and she could not answer.I told the caller the entire call seemed very unprofessional or even Fraudulent .Any Professional Company would not let their Employee Fumble a call to the public with no answers and not sure of what the reason they called for in the first place .When I logged on the site there was no questionaire.The reviews on the company site are totally Different than the reviews written by the General Public.The Entire call left me in a creepy uneasy feeling wondering what kind of Scam was trying to be Pulled.Hopefully Management reviews the Reviews and can do some training basics to their Employees and able to Field Questions on a live call .Like being to answer ...What is the research Regarding ?Or how about , Do a Little Research on what you are trying to research with General Public !Just a thought after you wasted my time.......Do People actually get Paid to call like this? ......Sorry for the 1 star , there are no zero stars .Thank you

Sent me an email to join a focus group. I called back and did the screening questions and was told by one of the ladies to participate in a group for specific day. She confirmed with me over the phone the date and time of my group. I was excited to earn some extra cash and participate in the group.I spoke to my supervisor at work and ended up working extra hours a week before so that I could leave early to attend the group for the following week. a week later they sent me an email with my confirmation and the date was incorrect not the date that I had discussed with the woman on the phone. I emailed them immediately to rectify. I replied back saying this was not the date that I had confirmed. They responded saying that the woman that helped me was on vacation and they had no way of tracking down what it happened but I did not qualify for the group the following week anymore/the group was full. So apparently they just included me in a different group and crossed their fingers hoping that I would join I guess. The individual that had signed me up for group has no idea of how a calendar works or perhaps they overbooked and just decided to get rid of certain individuals by placing them in other groups. Not too sure, but I am definitely disappointed. Waste of time and effort. Would be better if they organize themselves more accordingly especially trying to get clients to participate in these groups. I understand that there's incentives but what's the point if it's going to cause more of a headache for $100. I would recommend using caution when using this company because this is definitely very shady.

Rude and abrupt. Caller didn’t even know what the research was for or why. Very very shady.

They get off on calling you at your home at 8:30 p.m. and then believe that the area code 403 is BC area code. And when you get frustrated because the gentleman on the other line will not listen to the fact that you are not in BC he hangs up on you.

Excellent research company. I have been in paid focus groups with them off and on for decades on topics from music to food and policing to education. You want to be on their call list.

Research strategy copies the worst practices of a telemarketing company or collections agency ... incessant phone calls, several times a day, day after day, to the same Alberta residential phone number ... not a reliable or effective way to obtain objective data. Would not recommend ... unless it was to create a profile of 'worst research and marketing practices'

Most of these reviews are not from customers, but rather from survey respondents. You can't complain that polls are inaccurate, and then refuse to participate. The world doesn't work like that. I have used Trend's services as a customer, and can comment that they professional and accurate. Their founder is a former president of the MRIA of Canada.

Very persistent in getting a hold of you. I finally picked up the phone with the hope they would stop calling.
