Nice little park with beach and raft and lifeguards. There is an error on Google maps: this place is always open to the public and is known as Pleasant Road park (or beach).Walking and biking trail nearby Blueberry Run" is great for families

Doesn't take long to stay warm with a couple days of 25+ degrees. Gotta do a body check for leeches tho...4/5 times only had 1 on me

Many walking trails available and different access spots to an amazing beach! The water is so clear and the sand so light, it feels like you're in Florida! Also, you only have to walk a few meters away from the shore and you've already got water to your shoulders!

This is a great little public life-guarded sandy beach, with a floating dock, boat launch, and grassy picnic area. The fresh water is exceptionally clean as the lake is primarily supplied through underground aquifers. The only drawbacks are that it's very small compared to most N.S. beaches; and being on a lake there's not much for surfing ...unless you wind-surf :)

Wonderful park. Went with my girlfriend and enjoyed the sun! Saw a few dogs (on leash), many birds and a Dragonfly!
