The cashier today was unbelievably rude. She did not greet me and took an unnecessary amount of time to process my order. Furthermore, she added tax on items that did not need it whatsoever. Overall, the worst experience I have had here due to this one person. Her name is Dimple, and I recommend removing her.

Pharmacist and multiple employees did not display any visible name-tags, and Refused to provide any unique identifier, I.E. No Professional Accountability. They were technically incompetent, gave us incorrect information, repeatedly Interrupting when we endeavored to answer their asked question, Yelling when we politely requested them to Cease and Desist from repeatedly Interrupting us. We were threatened when we asked for store supervisor. In spite of being made to wait for over 20 minutes, no supervisor came. The Pharmacy aisles for picking up laxatives and other over- the- counter medications were locked up at least 40 minutes prior to closing time. Employees and Pharmacist had left much before closing time. The employees were unhelpful and rude.A middle-aged, Caucasian-white, female (with short hair, and no visible name- tag, who refused to provide her name or any unique identifier, I.E. No Professional Accountability) claimed to be store manager. She was uncooperative, verbally abusive, made disparaging racist comments, and Refused to provide the contact information for Walmart head office or division manager. She purposefully hit us with a cart, and was smirking at us.Store cashier overcharged us, and gave us incorrect change. The publicly posted price accuracy guarantee " was not honored. Store cashier had his name- tag reversed

I have long been a fan of Walmart and been going to the Dufferin Mall location for well over a decade. But the most recent visit may be my last. Walmart is all about value and convenience but this location is lacking in both.Lets talk about convenience . Checking out is a pain, after waiting in line to get to self checkout i found out half the kiosks are just off for no particular reason. Self checkout is supposed to make things quicker and easier but when half of them are offline then you just wait longer than a traditional cashier. Once you get into the self checkout corral there is one over-burdened attendant who you need to summon multiple times just to sort out even a small basket of goods. Then you have to find your way out of the store and make it to the car which with the construction is an added nightmare. Now onto value. Obviously walmart built its reputation on low prices, but those days seem to be long gone. Basic kids stuff that you can get for $2-3 at a dollarama are $5-6 here. Kids staples like diapers (if you can even find them in stock in the right size) have casually gone up $10 a box in price over the past year. There really seem to have taken the opportunity to jack up every price possible and coast on their every day low price" reputation. But when you look at the bill that illusion of value evaporates quickly. Oh and you cant even get bags unless you ask and they charge you $2 a pop for a "reusable" bag which lets face it will end up in a landfill after 1-2 uses. The store is a mess

Shout-out to Rifat, one of the Walmart staff who stock items on the shelves. He twice helped me locate difficult to find items. He specifically checked the exact location where to find the item using his app. Though busy stocking the items, he helps other customers as well find items that they need or they couldn't find. I think it's a Walmart DNA. But Rifat is sincere in helping customers. He just doesn't tell people to go to specific aisle so and so. He pinpoints the exact location and when he has time he even tells you on how to locate it using a precise numbering system. Such a nice fellow. Most customers don't know that there are lots of free parking in the Walmart basement. There are 2 basement levels to chose from. It's a good parking area especially when it's snowing. Walmart really prides itself to be the best. Highly recommended.

I'm extremely disappointed with the search toy section at Walmart in Dufferin Mall. Whenever I visit, it's always empty and devoid of any decent selection. It's really unfortunate that a store in Canada's largest city can't seem to keep up with demand or provide a pleasing experience for its customers. I rarely find anything that I'm looking for, and it's very disheartening to leave empty-handed every time. I strongly suggest that Walmart rethink its strategies and improve the availability and variety of its toys, or else it risks losing customers like myself.

This walmart is kind expensive, I bought two oranges and I pay 3.85 dollars, I went to check the safety shirts and walmart price is 40 dollars plus taxes and really bad quality, I went Home Depot and they have better quality and cheaper ,walmart nowadays is not cheap as use to be ,try to buy your groceries at Nofrills or Freshco ,or if you need something for your house or work go somewhere else.

This store was recently renovated and if you haven't had a chance, check it out. Today, I used the online ordered with Express Pick-up (from order to pick-up is 2 hours). I ordered and 2 hours later I was able to pick up my order. Great service. The associate Joel helped and was super friendly and fast. They recently moved the pickup spot from the upper part of the parking lot to the lower underground parking spots.

Do you need stuff? This place probably doesn’t have what you are looking for. What you will get though, is sensory overload. Do you need to be knocked down a peg? Cold hard slap back to reality? Patience tested unmercifully? Go to this Walmart. I guarantee if you go there to get any every day item, they will not have it for some unforeseen reason, the escalators will be broken for the 8th time that week, and a small child will be standing in the middle of parking lot blocking cars completely unattended. 5 stars. Great people watching.

Great location in Toronto. Store entrance from inside Dufferin Mall and outside Street too. Parking Great. Well organized store and self - checkout very easy to use. Very friendly staff always helpful at self - checkout and also cashiers are available too. Great Groceries section with international food items. Also fast food takeout section at entrance. Lower level kids items are available.Great place for family shopping.
