They didn't have change after spending 20 minutes picking out items. What store doesn't have change.

Went to return a hat that was purchased for my son. Had receipt. The manager laughed and said I won’t take that back. Has a crease. Was in a bag. Just needed the cardboard put back in. Be aware of kids in Cambridge centre mall!! What a joke

Terrible customer service from staff and the manager. Bought three high and ball caps and renewed my Lids membership. Thankfully I checked the hats before I left town and found a security tag visibly left on causing me to return to the store to have it removed safely. Live way out of town and if I had to drive home to find this it would’ve cost me four hours in driving. Went back to the store to have it removed in Cambridge and was told I should’ve checked before I left from a less than friendly manager. I was even willing to buy another hat with a discount for the inconvenience but he told me no that’s too bad! What???

This is a good place to look for hats as there is a great selection of teams and hat styles, They will even personalize your hat. The bad part about his store is the staff. There was one customer in the store when I walked in and 2 staff members. I wasn't helped at all, the staff member just stood and looked around.

The experience I had here with the staff was great, no problems there. That hat I did buy however, was marked up from the original sticker price on the hat. If you are going to up charge you may as well take the old price sticker off and not just cover up the old price. Despite this, it is still one of the best places to get a hat due to their selection and the fact that you can get the hat embroidered in store.

Cambridge Lids-Worst Customer Service-Will not buy at this store ever again. I purchased a hat as a Christmas gift and specifically requested a gift receipt in case my gift needed to be returned. I returned today with my gift receipt and the clerk/manager would not return the hat and would not provide any alternative. Additionally the music was so loud I could barely hear or be heard. We then went to another Lids within the region later and received a full refund in cash with no problems at all. I would give zero stars for the Cambridge Lids if possible. I have never had such a negative experience at a store. Extremely disappointed considering I have made a conscious decision to ensure I support stores within my community during the COVID pandemic.

Just bought a hat for my dad here, and had horrible customer service. Employees name was Alyssa and the whole time we were cashing out she was on her phone and when we had a question her response was blatantly rude. I would re consider her position on your team. I sure wouldn’t want someone like that representing my store. Worst customer service I’ve had in a while... not a good look to be on your phone while helping customers.

Was in today and bought a Toronto Maple Leafs hat for my mom's birthday, and the man pointed out I could get another one and it would be 2 hats for 40$, so I walked away with a red wings hat for me!

It's a Lids store, they sell hats, it's not like a wild shopping experience. Got my kid a hat, decent price, been awhile since I've been to a Lids store and the woman working there told me we could get it embroidered for a decent price.What you'd expect for a Lids store but the woman who helped me was just genuine, friendly and took her time with me going through options for embroidering!

Read a lot of negative reviews here and that is not the experience I had at all.The store was clean and organized, the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager went above and beyond to help me pick out hats and get the right file to have them embroidered.Overall great experience and will be back to buy more hats.
