Pusateri's Fine Foods

Pusateri on Avenue Road has friendlier workers than other 2 locations I have been to in the city. They are kind and cheerful and ready to help. The food is amazing and varieties is great.I can't shop here as often as I liked, though has amazing food the price is also up there. It is just nice to get a fewer but nicer things here. I totally reccomend this place.

Two stars because (1) the girl who called me and went through my lengthy online order was so helpful and sweet; and (2) for the ease of ordering online and getting it delivered for a relatively low price.However, I spent $2200 on a delivery order and received several EXPIRED items (3x olive oils priced at $44.99 each, all expiring in the next two weeks), as well as over 10 items all expiring within a month. These are pantry items priced at over $15 each, which typically have expirations of 2 years. Store needs to do a better job at ensuring freshly stocked products, especially when the prices are inflated because it's being sold at Pusateri's". At least offer a discount for items expiring in the next month! Seriously

Always fresh and delicious fine food!

This place is sincerely disgusting. I found this danish ring with 6 flies enclosed in it. Their pastry department has a fly problem. They are aware of this aswell. There’s review already about flies on their pastries and they have replied to every review but that one, meaning they saw it. Never buying pastries from there again and you shouldn’t either.

This place is disgusting. I went to buy one of their pastries and I saw a bunch of flies on them! This must be a health & safety violation of some sort. Overpriced pastries and yet you are paying for fly food. I'll never come to this store again.

So, I have written a review on Pusateri's Bayview Village Store, and I gave it 5 stars. I finally made it over to the Avenue Road Store. I have to say, I was surprised by the excellent materials in the store, the floors, the walls, all were fantastic. The food? Simply amazing, but then again this should come as NO surprise to people that really want the best in their food. Pusateri's does not fail you in this regard, the best food and select items of anywhere. Great food choices at a fair price. From the best place to have lunch and a nice hearty sandwich and a delicious donut, to dinner be it fresh fish, or some amazing cold cuts, and a Butcher shop that will have your favorite cuts of meat all trimmed to your exact specs, just the way you like it. Finishing off with something amazing from the pastry department. It's all great, you can also find some amazing things in the pantry with all types of pasta, sauce, and Balsamic Vinegar! Amazing, fresh produce - something you do not see in many stores across Toronto, they go through the produce everyday to take out all the expired fruit and vegetables. They also have terrific prepared food that you take home and easily prepare by following the cooking instructions and preparing it just the way you would like. I mean they have terrific Meatballs, Butter Rice, Salads, Potatoes. Do not forget to hit up the Pastry Section on your way home, you will find something here for that sweet tooth of yours with NO PROBLEM at all. Also, just like Bayview Village, the STAFF in this store are simply AWESOME. I do not know about you but I love going to stores where they know your name and I ran into several staff members that were at Bayview Village and are now at Avenue Road, they came right up to me and said my name after a lengthy time. I was really impressed with this more than anything. With Pusateri's the staff REALLY DO care about people coming into the store!!!

Lovely selection of gourmet foods. Friendly and accommodating staff. Adequate and convenient parking. Clean and well sorted shelves. The aisles are a bit narrow. Enjoyable for shopping during the week when it's slower. Not that great on weekends when there is crowd (my personal preference).

One of the best fine food destination, There is enough parking space at the back of the building . Excellent customer service team at each sections and they have good knowledge of benefits and nutrients of the food items........... a must go if you are around the area, staff are very helpful , respectful and polite

This store has an excellent selection of fine foods and desserts. There are plenty of great options here. The main downside is the price, as this store is very expensive, but they have things here that you can’t just find other places. Their ready made meals are also delicious!

We have ordered (via delivery) 2 platters which are, each, recommended for 4-6 people. One was the seafood platter with lobster tails, seared tuna, shrimps and the relevant sauces. The other platter was had a variety of pastries, scones, sandwiches jam, berries etc (see photos). We also ordered a mimosa kit" and flowers.The quality of everything was great and was shared by 4 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of food. It was a very good meal that was enjoyed by all.My 2019 review-The "new" store was a new built after the "old" store burnt down.There are 2 handicapped parking spaces next to the front door and many more at the back of the store.The store has 2 levels.
