Petersen's Garage

Not particularly happy with them. Took a used car in for a safety and it took 6 weeks to get it back. The first 4 weeks was just playing phone tag to find out what the estimate was even going to be. Was fairly happy when it only cost 2300 at the end of it. But there was still a clunk in the front and a brake rubbing sound in the back. Took it to a different mechanic to swap the tires and that mechanic said the brake rubbing was the e-brake shoes on one wheel, the other wheel had no e-brake at all. The clunk in the front was the control arm/ball joint/tie rod. 1000 dollars later and I have the car back from the other mechanic on the same day. Suffice to say this car shouldn't have passed inspection as it was. I won't be back. Although I will note that they were always polite and friendly when I did speak to them. I'm just not happy with the work they did and more importantly the work they didn't do.

I had an issue come out of nowhere with my back brake and needed it fixed quickly as I'm not from here and needed my truck, it was Friday at 330 so I was worried I would be stranded all weekend. I called and they said to come in and they took care of it right on the spot for me. Very appreciative of what they did for me.

I am so happy I found this garage. They are always so kind to me, incredibly quick service and always costs way less than I assume it will. Very happy customer.

Awesome service, extremely quick turn around on doing a full exhaust install and under quote. Friendly staff and the shop dog will make sure you're well taken care of. Ask for Jay and he'll do you a bang up job. A+

Really great service! I had a flat tire and even though they did not have my tire or rim size, the guys made numerous phone calls to locate replacements. Other than that, the service was quick and friendly. Would completely recommend!

We had a high pressure power steering fluid line blow up on us on the way to Ottawa late Friday afternoon. Gunnar couldn't get a part for my car that late but managed to rig a line to get us back on the road. The man is magic. If I didn't live so far away I would definitely use Peterson's for all my service needs. Price was extremely reasonable as well. This shop deserves a 6 star rating
