I read a lot of reviews from other people who said how they don’t taste authentic or is a fake oversea copy brand, but my experience is different as I’ve never tried the bakery in Asia before. As it was my first time here, I wanted to try their cake baos as my coworker bought one before and I was able to try abit of it. The workers were very helpful and nice to us when we came, and even helped us decide on what to get. Generally the price overall is a bit high as to get 6 will be at least $24, and you can’t buy it individually. Their cake Baos come in 2 different floss options; chicken or pork. We got the mixed option as we liked both floss haha. The pork floss was very soft, and the chicken floss is a bit crunchier if you like that texture. The baos were very soft, and very creamy inside. Although they are pretty fatty, this is definitely a good treat to reward yourself ;)IG: Ayenomz

I got 2 orders of sangjibao today. Great cute spot with delicious food. I didn't try anything else but I know the baos are the most coveted item on the menu. Remember to bring cash if your total is under $20. If it's over $20 then you can pay with debit.

Brought some to take home on sunday, the chicken floss is not fresh and probably sits in the heated pan for next day use, 3 of us who ate it got a serious food posioning for two days.

The bao pastry here is really divine. The soft bao with the custard filling and the meat floss turns out to be a really great combination. The saltiness of the floss with the sweetness from the custard balance out really nicely. Also had the red bean egg yolk pastry, which although was delicious, nothing a Chinese bakery couldn’t put out. Service was great. Wanted to try the tart as well, but they were sold out by the time we got there in the late afternoon / early evening. Attendant was fast in getting the order together and we were out in a matter of minutes. It must take a lot of work prepping and making as it’s pretty pricey which is one drawback. And this would prevent me from coming here on a regular basis, but it is definitely worth a try. You won’t regret at least tasting this soft heavenly pillow of sweet and salty at least once.

It's pretty good but pricey for what you get. I wish they'd sell them in singles so you don't have the buy 6 each time

Worth Trying.I can finally say I've tried it, as they look super cool and nice - at the end of the day, just like the other reviewers, I just don't think its worth having a 2nd time. The issue is the way they prevent you from buying a box of 6 with multiple flavours - you can only have 2 flavours, and that rubs me the wrong way.Takes AMEX.

I tried their chicken floss cakes. They taste fine but not worth 22.50+tax for 6 in my opinion. Staff was nice and polite though

Stupid expensive. $30 (after tax) for 6 balls which is so light you think the box it was in was empty. Flavour wise the custard inside wasn't that flavourful or creamy. The highlight was the pork floss which was crunchy and delicious. If they sell just the pork floss i would go back.Tip: you can ask for two flavours.

The pork floss cakes that I got were very interesting. I've never tried anything like that before and was pleasantly surprised. Very light, savory and soft. It is a bit overpriced for the amount you get, and I hope in the future the owners will decrease the price a bit.
