The owners, instructors and all the staff are very friendly and highly competent. The facility is always clean and the animals are well cared for. I highly recommend it for adults or children.

If you are in the equine world you will know that finding a barn with reliable horse care, an excellent facility, and great coaching is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Vector Equestrian has all of these qualities. With fifteen years experience in the equine industry, and a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Equine Management, I can honestly say I count my blessings every day that I have my horse Vector. My family and I have an enormous sense of peace and trust in Vector’s owners; Ann Pryde and Jenny Lineker, and the barn staff. The meaning behind Vector’s name is “moving forward with impulsion” - and the business lives up to this meaning in all aspects including horse/rider training programs, and horse health. On countless occasions, I have seen riders/horses (including my self and horse) reach new goals in their training and show career I did not know were possible. Jenny gets to know her students and their horses on a personal level. She uses this unique relationship with each student to create a custom horse/rider training program, which in-turn helps everyone excel in the show ring. Ann is an extremely approachable, caring individual that always places horse care and safety first in every situation. One time last year my horse was missing a back leg strap on her blanket - I was contacted immediately and Vector replaced the leg strap right away to ensure the safety of my horse. This may not sound like much, but for me it is a testimony to the barn’s attention to detail and level of horse care. Moreover, Jenny and Ann are two of the most hardworking individuals I have ever met. They conduct their business with a great deal of respect, organization, and passion. All three of these attributes transpire into an environment that is nothing but trustworthy, and welcoming. The community at Vector is like a second family, that motivates, and encourages one another - we also have a lot of fun! The facility is nothing short of phenomenal, clean, and modern. It includes large box stalls, a heated viewing area for parents, an attached indoor arena, a spacious outdoor ring, grooming stalls, wash stalls, and floor-ceiling large wooden lockers for boarders in heated tack room. Board prices plus lesson prices are very reasonable. Invoices are always clear, in-detail, and on time. I can honestly say, and my family will agree with me, that moving our horse to Vector Equestrian three years ago was the best decision we could have ever made.

I went here with a groupon for two riding lessons.Booking the first lesson was difficult. I phoned about 4 times before a lady answered, on a cell, with traffic in the background. She advised me to email instead because she was driving. I emailed with no reply. I phoned about three more times and managed to catch her when she wasn't driving and booked my two lessons.I have no complains about the quality of the lesson or the facilities. That was all great. I liked the horse. My lesson went a little short but she said we'd make that up next week.About three hours before my next lesson, I get a voicemail saying it's cancelled and we'd have to rebook. I phoned back within two minutes but no answer. I phoned about 7 times over the next month at various times of the day but no answer. So I gave up.I don't think she was trying to scam me out of my second lesson, but the end result is I'll never collect on it and at this point I don't even want to bother any more.I would advise against paying in advance...

I registered my daughter for a week of horse camp last summer (2017) thinking it would be the highlight of the summer for her and that this would become an annual thing, I could not have been more wrong! She had a HORRIBLE experience!!! I learned about the camp via an ad in the local paper and inquired about it. I was in contact with someone named Ann who seemed friendly enough and gave me a tour of the facility etc. However, during the actual week my daughter attended camp Ann was no where to be found and it seemed to be 2 highschool aged girls who were in charge. I don't believe I ever saw either of them smile... they were not the least bit friendly or inviting. My daughter ended up being super stressed out all week about going because these girls were mean and were quick to threaten to take away her riding privileges if she misbehaved in anyway. Keep in mind, my daughter is quiet and definitely not one to cause trouble. There was the odd case where she didn't hear an instruction and when she didn't follow through they took that as bad behaviour. The ad for the summer camp program makes it sound like your child is going to be having the time of their life and be kept busy with all sorts of fun activites. This simply is not the case. My daughter said a LOT of time was spent hanging around in their crappy lounge room waiting for their turn to do the next activity. The ad will show a picture of a painted horse... nothing remotely that 'fun' happened during the week my daughter attended. And for the record, it was beautiful weather the week she was there so it's not like they needed to be stuck inside or anything and couldn't do some of the activities they normally do. One of the daily 'crafts' she came home with was a pipe cleaner rolled up on the one end to resemble a snail... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!If you are looking for overpriced daycare for your child then sure, register them for Vector's summer camp. But if you think you're doing your child a favour by sending them to this horse camp because they have an interest in horses and you want to encourage them in that area then PLEASE look elsewhere and don't make the same mistake I did! I felt terrible about the whole situation seeing how stressed and upset the whole stupid thing made her! I kept hoping things would be better the next day... how could something that sounded so promising be such an utter disappointment?! I would NEVER even CONSIDER registering her here again or recommending the summer camp to anyone!!! BEWARE!!!

Vector Equestrian offers excellent coaching and horse care, a supportive family community, and a beautiful, well-maintained facility. Jenny and Ann have created a first-rate riding program, coupled with a caring, fun and safe environment for both riders and horses. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The horses have excellent feed and turnout schedules. The facility and the stalls are clean. The horses are happy! My daughter started riding with Vector when she was 8 years old, in 2009. Under Jenny and Ann’s careful teaching and leadership she and so many other young riders are developing into skilled equestrians, caring and attentive horse owners, supportive team members and well-rounded, confident individuals. We would highly recommend Vector Equestrian!

After over 30 years of riding experience, I can honestly say Vector Equestrian is the most professional, horse and rider centric stable I've ever been to. You can quickly tell by how healthy and happy all the horses are that the care under Ann's supervision is top notch, and the instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to helping riders achieve their goals. My riding and my horses have come leaps and bounds under Jenny's coaching - she has a knack for understanding each individual horse, and building the confidence of both horse and rider. The facilities are stunning, and the staff and riders are all friendly and supportive. I highly recommend Vector to anyone looking for a place to board, show or take recreational lessons, it is bar none the best stable I've had the pleasure of riding at.

Vector Equestrian is an excellent facility from client and employee perspective. As a client I am going into my fourth summer at Vector equestrian, and I can honestly say I would not trust my horse with any other barn. My horse, Dawn, has anxiety issues and would to weave constantly at previous barns I was at, moving to Vector I have not seen her weave in years, displaying the comfort, and relaxation she has at this facility. Down in the barn you can always find Ann hard at work organizing employee and client management, and making sure each horse is on the proper feed program to help them excel in their show or lesson program. Along side Ann, the barn workers, are always available to help and cater to any needs as quickly and efficiently as they can. As a rider, I owe everything to the unique show program that Jenny has to offer, and if you need to proof watch the improvement in all Vector riders throughout the Central West Trillium show season. As an employee, I have worked as a head counsellor, and show groom for Vector. As head counsellor Ann and Jenny helped me make my ideas for camp happen, their support as employers and their drive to make Vector a top notch facility catering to many riding levels, like our summer camp, shows their dedication and support that they have for all of their employers and clients. Having worked in many different Camp environments, one being Autism Ontario, I have had many employers and I can truly say Ann and Jenny are the most understanding and encouraging managers a employee could ask for. Working as a show groom this past summer it took a lot of dedication, every other weekend was a three day show consisting of 6am trailering times and full long show days, but every morning and threw out the whole day Jenny and Ann ensured I was working in a “safe” environment, ensuring I stayed well hydrated and taking breaks to allow me to efficiently work as their show groom, whenever I needed a assistance they were by my side offering a helping hand. They were my ‘mom away from home’ for those long show groom weekends. From first hand witnessing both the client and employee sides at Vector equestrian I can truly say this is a top notch facility, in which provides excellent horse care, unique show and lesson programs, and a creative summer camp. I would not trust my Dawn with any one else but Ann and Jenny. I would highly recommend this facility.
