I wish I could give 5 stars, but a couple of comments. The chicken stew in the bread bowl was tasty and I loved the bread bowl. The stew was thin and I would have liked a bit more. I love a thick stew, more body. Second our server while friendly disappeared from our table for a bit when we were ready to order second drinks. Will we be back? Probably.

An excellent experience stopping for the first time at the the Dogpatch for refreshments when on a walk in the river valley, Riverdale. The Dogpatch, Bread + Butter and Little Brick are easily accessible when walking and there are special events every day of the week at the Dogpatch which could easily become a local eatery to visit with music etc.

Had I read the reviews, I would have been even more disappointed about brunch...My friend and I had the patch Benny, it looked delicious but the biscuit was super dry, overall the meal was barely warm, many diced potatoes were not fully cooked, and there was no seasoning on them. I ordered an iced tea which was very expensive. The service was alright, and it's a cool place, but we were both pretty disappointed, especially for the price point.

Visited this place and the address took me to a nice neighbourhood, I thought maybe I entered the address wrong. Boy was I glad I kept going, it took me to a place I will always remember.The food was crazy good and very creative as well. Full of flavours and fresh ingredients. Very clean, cozy and fun to hang in. My only complaint was the reaction time for service was slow, but once you order the food, is promptly brought back to you. Nevertheless, I did go on a very busy weekend for brunch as well.Definitely a spot I will come back to and experience very soon again. Let me know what you think and keep on eating.

Brunch at the Dogpatch was great! Had the Full Aussie and everything on the plate was perfection! Had it with over easy eggs and the halloumi cheese was the best part! Potatoes were crispy and were seasoned well! Another great addition to the Dogpatch was the mimosa flight! Such a fun concept

Dogpatch is in the gorgeous Riverdale community. On my most recent visit, I sat outside and it was lovely.I had the feature burger and it hit the spot. The food is elevated pub fare and is well done and very tasty if that’s what you’re in the mood for. They have some good local beer on tap.Good, chill local spot in a gorgeous setting.

It was quite easy to get to the location, parking is tight, and available. The atmosphere was up beat with great music and the place was full of conversation. I went solo, and was starving. So once I was directed that it was the brunch menu, I was pumped. I ordered the waffle with toppings and the eggs Benedict with the sausage patty. While I waited I was brought water and ordered a rhubarb strawberry soda, perfect. And checked out the great set up of partitions, music area and theatre style banners with weekend specials. The food wasn't too long considering the patch was full. And as you can see it was fantastic! I crushed this plate, starting with the waffle and potatoes. Potatoes were great with some large salt, and the waffle!! It was gluten free, which doesn't matter to me. It was so good with the apple, ricotta and flavor of syrup, delicious! The eggs were spot on, with the biscuits it just makes it better than an English muffin. I finished off my fruit slices and was full! The bill was just over 40 dollars with the tip. Great place to pop in and enjoy even just once. I want to enjoy the outdoor seating with my dog when the weather comes round. So get down to the Dogpatch and have a bite and a pint!! It's worth it. Bring down Friends they have larger seating. I went around 130 on a Saturday and sat at a table for four solo. Then grab a loaf on the way out. Happy eating!

Went here for an office dinner after work. Easy to set up reservations. Got here just before happy hour was finished and we ordered all the appys for the table for a Party of 8 and it was perfect for the table. All in all we were happy with our main dishes as well. I ended up ordering the cypress hill v5.0 and I thought it was ok. Definitely enjoyed the focaccia. For whatever reason I was hoping/expecting a smokier and savoury halloumi to balance out everything else, and I didn’t get that with this sandwich. The whole table raved about the bread and it’s definitely a stand out considering they use bread and buns from the bakery next door! Server was good checked in on us frequently. Parking can be a bit tricky. I would say this place is wheelchair accessible but again be mindful of parking and I believe the spaces inside are an appropriate width to accommodate mobility devices as well as strollers. The space is not the biggest but I can appreciate the history and location. I recommend checking this place out!

LOOOOVE this lesser known haunt in Riverdale for brunch on weekends. I almost hate to let the cat out of the bag because it's been such a nice surprise for me to introduce people to this dining establishment. The space is gorgeous and well lit. The vibe is hip and easy going. There are tables outside in the summer. And the food is amazing! Their brunch offerings are superb with a very simple, but very modern, menu. You can pair brunch here with a wonderful walk in this quaint neighborhood. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
