Came in after the tractor pulls Friday closed'er down. Had a blast of a time. Missed the restaurant however the new menu looks alright even a new butcher shop attached. Cheers

Noones listening, the power tripping staff, is more important than the paying customer. I sure miss Cecil ... and the hope he brought, and the interest and excitement, to turn that place into something great.To the Staff: Assemble a TEAM people, a GOOD TEAM .. Turn that place around, and bring 'em in by the droves!!!! Make it a great place to eat, drink and stay !!! Do it for our Community!!!

Service was terrible, the cook/waitress was unprofessional. Speaking about animal feces and urine in a room that she cleaned while I was eating! That was the end of my meal. Never going there when she is working. It was painful, she didnt know what over easy was nor Sunnyside up for eggs. Fries on the poutine was super crispy, there was supposed to be cheese curds, however only shredded cheese was used.

Nov 5, 2020Old review was three stars. New owners have made a huge improvement to this place. Totally redid the pub, entrance, liquor and convenience store. Everything is well kept and clean. Was not in the rooms but apparently they have been renovated too.Food was very good, home.made fries and everything prepared just as ordered. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are reasonable with large portions and good quality.Sept 2020 - We will be up there in October so will drop by and check it out to see what changes the new owners have made.Nov 2017 -Pub has cold beer but fairly expensive food that is of average to below average quality. Definitely not great eats but it makes poop in the morning. Don't know what the rooms are like but there are a few oil patch workers staying there and there are lots of vacancies at the other places in town though none are luxury accommodation.

I only put the location as 2 because Rycroft is dead center the middle of nowhere, it's not the Rycroft hotels fault, having been here 9 months and spent time in every one of the 4 hotels this town has to offer, the Rycroft is the best. The staff is friendly. The rooms and decor (even if out of date) are professional..If you're here for work, the owner is is straight shooter on giving you a fair deal, where the other main road motels (won't say names) will lie to you (I've been here 9 months and witnessed the deal change as our work was coming to an end, you will find my reviews on them specifically if you want).This isn't 5* luxury but if you're here that's not what you're looking for, it's good service, fair deals on four walls and a roof with the best wifi in town, more choice for television (they offer fire stick and direct).My only complaint is that you don't get to choose your turn over". Seems if you're a "extended stay" you get turn over Sunday or Monday. Which is smart

Not sure why some valid reviews in here just get ridiculed by the owner, but anyways. I really tried to be open to this place, however waitresses are almost always dressed unprofessional, the cook seemed drunk (sorry if he wasn’t but he seemed like it) and as luck would have it I witnessed minors being served alcohol multiple times… let me repeat that. Saw minors being served alcohol Some of their food is good though and saw some kids play music there once which was pretty adorable. No this is not “someone out to get revenge” this is just an honest review.. would hate to see a business get shut down for just trying to let kids have fun. But serving minors alcoholic beverages when you don’t know them or know of any health conditions is one way to get shut down.

Great, meaty, chicken wings!!!!! New to Town and the food was amazing! I got the pleasure of meeting the owner and a very great guy! As well as other regulars very welcoming and friendly!!!!

New ownership. Changes are underfoot. Pizzas rock. I would recommend trying them out. The Hotel rooms are about double the size of St. Michaels and surrounding area. Easy to relax when it is all under one roof.

Great little place. Clean and everything in one spot. Liquor store, restaurant, little convince store and a pub. The pizza is great!!! Rooms were huge. Expect me again sometime. Thanks
