Excellent work,My property had a complicated foundation issue. But, Ed and his crew (specially Ryan) worked very well that they rebuilt it from bottom to top. They were responsive and dedicated to work. Even though work was delayed twice due to structural problem and city permit. they gave a priority to the work and finished it before the winter.Thank you guys for making foundation wall stronger and water-proofed.

We are completely satisfied with this company.BT replaced the sewers and all concrete flooring in our 70 year old house, with the minimal disruption to our water and gas services.Everyone we dealt with was professional and a pleasure to work with.

Basement Technologies were a delight to work with, from start to finish. Ed's visit and the estimate process were smooth and informative - he answered all our questions. Scott, Luke, and Zack were a fantastic crew to work with on a day-to-day basis - respectful of our home, generous in answering questions we had, and an obvious care and eye for detail in ensuring the job was completed well. We were kept up to date with the progress of the job (quite an intense basement foundation fix!) and couldn't have asked for a more professional, quality business (and this is saying something given that we work from home and were home for the entire project). Lastly, office staff (Rachel!) and Kirsten were friendly, communicative, and attentive to our questions.

Just after finishing our basement, we developed a leak in our back wall. I’m in a middle townhouse, so it was a tricky thing to address.Basement Technologies offered us a unique solution that address our issues. Additionally, because we had a smaller hob, they were able to squeeze us in snd get it fixed quickly!We’ve had a couple major storms since they completed their work and everything seems to be going great. In addition to doing an excellent job, quickly, they also preserved as much of our newly finished basement as possible.Very grateful to the entire team!

They quickly assessed the situation and booked us in. The crew was quick courteous and friendly. The work was clean and they kept me informed every step of the process. Every person I dealt with was friendly, accommodating to our schedule and very helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone with basement issues.

I had a prearranged appointment this evening for a foundation repair and waterproof quote . Ed called to ask if we could meet earlier . On arriving home Ed was waiting . I shook his hand and remarked it was good that we had some daylight in which to look at the job outside . He asked if I had measured the inside area of the basement . The repairs are to be outside . I said no . He looked at the front steps and stated Well the steps will have to be removed ". (See attached photo ) . I pointed out that the steps are part of the slab that makes up the front porch slab

All of the people at this company are amazing. Ed came and looked at may basement and followed up shortly with a quote and detailed paperwork so that I understood precisely what the job entailed. Rachel was so amazing, scheduling everything and always answering any questions I had.The work was started and finished in a timely manner. The workers were great! Polite, friendly, very knowledgable and always there to answer any of my questions.I am so relieved knowing my basement is now fixed properly! It was a complicated, large job, but thanks to these guys everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier!Thanks to all the amazing team at BT!Jen

BE ADVISED!!!!! Basement Technologies (BT) is a FABULOUS individually owned company situated in Hamilton ONTARIO. It was highly recommended to me by a trusted contractor. THERE IS A BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES" company in New Brunswick. THIS NEW BRUNSWICK company has absolutely nothing to do with "BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES" in Hamilton. Unfortunately the New Brunswick company is the source of the poor reviews!!!! They apparently are NOT fabulous like the BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES located in Hamilton

I called Basement Technologies over the holidays because my sump pump stopped working and the water level was rising. It was after hours and over the holidays, but I quickly heard back from Rachel, who arranged for a technician to replace it first thing the next morning.The next morning, just before the technician arrived, we found out that it was an issue with the power supply and our builder (during a reno) resolved it. I called immediately to let them know, and Randy was friendly and courteous and assured us they would use the sump pump for another job and wouldn't charge us for the last minute booking and cancellation.Just after that call the technician, Scott, arrived with the new sump pump. We told him as well that it had just been resolved and he too was friendly and even laughed about it.Overall it was such a great experience. Basement Technologies will definitely be our first call for any future basement issues!

This company waterproofed the South wall of our basement just under a year ago. At first glance they were great, Ed was professional and the guys who did the work were friendly and hard working. We ordered low profile window wells and unfortunately they installed regular sized ones. They offered to come back and switch them out but when they did the install did not look nearly as good. Then our back wall started to leak, we found out from another company that it's a common issue if you don't waterproof the whole basement. Ed did not share that with us. We had to get another company to come in and waterproof for us which ended up costing half the price of this company and a better job. I would not recommend.
