A neat place to browse. Lots of books. We didn't find that the selection was quite as wide as some other consignment shops around (but then again, we've probably been to most of them) but the people who run it are friendly and it's definitely the most scenic location of any of the consignment shops. When you're done, I recommend walking down to the ice cream shop in the old building across the street.

This place is disgusting. It smells like a wet cellar. They should throw out most of the items they have for sale. They sell sanitary pads from 20 years ago....seriously gross. Anytime I’ve been in the store and have listened to the sales people they never will take an offer less than what they have on the stickers.Also interesting they charge tax but don’t give you a receipt with a tax number.If you’re thinking of stopping in don’t. Drive to another part of the province to look for treasures. If you want to go in make sure your vaccinations are up to date.
