The Captain's Boil
Came here for dinner with a few colleagues and orders the Captains feast. It is A LOT of food, we didn’t even touch on the rice dishes. All of the seafood was tender and delicious except for the mussels. The mussels were chewy, over-cooked and inedible, and they ended up taking them off the bill for us. The ‘captains boil’ sauce is absolutely delicious and a must get.All in all, the food was great and service was quick and courteous. Worth it to splurge on the biggest feast if your splitting with friends, it’s a great deal.

Everything is so good and fresh. Seafood lovers must love it. Their Seafood Fried Rice was so good. For me, I love using bare hands when eating seafood. Using the plastic gloves which makes it more messy.

Amazing seafood place with incredible secret sauce called captains sauce. But my favourite is actually the seafood fried rice. They add lots of shrimp and other seafood to the dish and perfectly seasoned. What I like to do is cut a small hole on the bottom corner of the bag and squeeze out the sauce onto the rice and mix it up. It’s like a seafood jollof rice, you’ll have dreams of this afterwards.

Great food. If you’re craving for seafood, this is the place to be. I love captains boil spicy but I can’t have medium. It’s too much. I only go for the mild. They offer other than seafood but I only go here if I’m craving for crabs and mussels. Too bad they don’t have oyster at that time.

You can miss it during “Eat as you can shrimp and muscle weeks”. It’s $39 without tax without mandatory pop drink. You have 2 hours to eat shrimps and muscle as much as you can. You order one pound with the sauce that you like it and while eating it , you can order the next. But if you didn’t finish a pound, then you have to pay. Parking is easy in the plaza most of the time. Their customer service is great.

Just wow. Nice vibe, friendly staff, great service and the quality of food was excellent. I only had the Captains Shrimp Fried Rice but it was delicious.Hunger level was enough to overcome a dish that could comfortably serve more than 1 person.Will definitely be back next I'm in Richmond.

They were fully booked with reservations but we’re still able to accommodate us on a busy Saturday evening. We had ordered a boil with headless shrimp, potatoes, and corn as well as lobster rolls with Cajun fries. For the boil, we got the Captain’s Boil flavour and medium spice and it tasting amazing. I would get the same flavour again. The lobster rolls were okay but not worth the price. As mentioned, it was really busy so things were a bit slow but staff was friendly and working hard.

Great experience and great food. We ordered the pirate’s feast which came with our choice of crab, 1lb each of shrimp, mussels, and clams, seafood fried rice, cajun fries, and a whole bunch of sides. There was more than enough food to feed 4 people and we were all very satisfied. The crab was perfectly cooked and had a good amount of meat, the mussels were massive and very flavourful, the clams were a bit small but were still good, and some of the shrimp were overcooked and mushy but that did not ruin the meal for us. We all enjoyed eating with our hands, which adds to the positive experience of this place. It’s definitely a treat to come here as the flavours can be very heavy and the prices aren’t cheap, but overall everyone had a great time!
