Oxford Learning Courtice

My son has been attending Oxford learning since going into grade 5 (now half way through grade 6). He was struggling to make progress with his Math and Language/Literacy early on at school. My sister in-law had informed me that my nephews attended Oxford for the extra help they were needing. I decided to reach out and see what all they could offer my son. The welcoming was amazing. Not only did they listen to my concerns but they took the time to go over his report cards, his IEP, they met and consulted with him so that they could decide the best program that would work for him at Oxford. Overall they made us feel that they were there to support us both in anyway and they wanted to help my son reach his potential and to gain some confidence, because through the interactions they had just had with him, they could tell he was a smart kid (he just needed some extra guidance). I love that every six weeks or so you get to have an update meeting with the teacher. They are very informative and the communication is terrific. If i have questions or concerns they get back to me at their earliest convenience (which is usually right away). They know what works and doesn't work for the children. My older daughter who is in high school has also attended to receive help her with her marks in three courses as she was struggling and wanted to do better in order to apply to a certain course for college.I am proud to say that because of the extra help at Oxford, my son has made amazing progress. His math and language/literacy have gone up in grades and he has built up some self confidence. Thank you Oxford Learning in Courtice. To all the staff, Lindsey, and Joanna. We appreciate you guys and look forward to continuing for as long as we can at Oxford!

$30/h is a little pricy of what we get from the class. We have tried the minimum study hour for 8 months. We are satisfied and happy to continue if we can get more progress or get lower price. The teacher helped us find out the key point and provided solutions. We would like to know more about our child but didn't find an effective way of communication.

Had given my notice to terminate services by the end of December. Had also informed them of my child taking Christmas and New Years holidays and being unable to come to his paid classes in December.As soon as they heard I wanted to terminate they call to persuade me to continue but fail to I form me that I was going to loose all my make up classes if I terminate on December. When my son returned in January, I co tact them to book make up classes. They very nicely told me that I have signed this information at the beginning and when you g through my contact it just does not say that. Just be careful because this is what business do now a day. They word their contract in a way that they can get away with nicely scaming you with your permission.Thank you Oxford and enjoy my free money

One of the best decision we have made.

I have been working at Oxford Courtice for about six months and it has been an absolute delight! By focusing on developing our student's core skills, we get to see their cognitive and academic growth, and share in their accomplishments. My student's amaze me every day, and I am always so proud to see their confidence grow. Our team, coming from various educational backgrounds, collaborates to ensure that each student's needs are being met, and that their strengths are being harnessed. I gladly recommend Oxford to friend, family members, and academic colleagues who are looking to give their child(ren) the extra boost they need to enhance their learning experience!

Oxford Learning Courtice is a great tutorial place for Our Children, Staff is great and very helpful. Ms Joanna is very well experienced in teaching programs for children who have Learning issues and children who need help in all or any subject. We both parents are very very satisfied and very happy with the results , I wish I could afford more hours every day and its definitely worth the price we pay , our child has been enrolled since more than 4 years now. Thanks to Ms Joanna and Staff definitely recommend with 5 Stars..

I have three children enrolled in Oxford Learning - Courtice location. Two are there for Math and one that is in the Little Readers program. Joanna is easy to work with and understands the needs of all three children. The staff at Oxford is engaging, caring and progressive in their methods of teaching my children. Math has become easier to understand for the two older ones, and our Little Reader is Reading very well and is excited about it. The time and investment in their learning is worth it.I highly recommend Oxford. Homework help, test preparation and general understanding of concepts....they have adequately equipped my children to excel.

A few years ago but what seems like yesterday, I worked with Joanna and team as Education Co-ordinator and I could not have asked for a better experience.Working at the centre I witnessed first hand the difference supplemental education programs like the ones Oxford Learning offers work. Seeing students, especially ones who’s levels were years behind, gain confidence and skills through these programs was so inspiring.Joanna is far more than a director, she cares for each and every student as if they were her own, she genuinely wants each child that comes through her doors to do well and always has their best interest at heart, wow that is refreshing.
