Edit: from 5 stars all the way down to 3! I added a photo showing the big difference in the Shesh, in less than month the quality dropped massively. Last time it was marninated right, it was crisp and not soggy, it was grilled to perfiction, look at the mess they gave me this time, not to mention that I ordered “Kebab skewers” and they did not tell me that there is something called kebab shish (a strange word that I never heard to describe the Tenderloin cubes)Probably the last time visiting.Old post: Great BBQ, great service, and best of all, very friendly and welcoming.

Ornina Kebab located in oakville is surely a must try. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Serving everything from chicken shawarma to Mana’eesh. They have wide range of variety in their menu. The taste and quantity is pretty good however the interior of the restaurant is very average and very casual.

This is indeed a hidden gem. The food is very tasty and authentic. Everything is fresh, including the bread which is baked in-house. The hummus is the star - easy 10/10. The baklava is symphonic! The owner is very nice & staff are very welcoming. I highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for high quality middleastern food.

You can’t do 2 reviews as a Google user - so I only had the one chance with my order.Service is friendly and so polite. Atmosphere is nice. Decent space for the business.For the food, I got 4 skewers to try a bit of everything (Ornina Kofta, Spicy Tawook x2, Shish Kebab). I also grabbed a Beef Sujuk with cheese.The kebab was excellent. Would get 4 next time. And the Sujuk was flavourful and tasty. The under melted cheese impacted my score a bit, as did the presentation of the takeout skewers. Photos were taken in the same 30 seconds it was delivered.Baklava - was a nice treat at the end. Moist and flavourful. I had three and could have eaten 12. Well done. And this was a take out order I sampled for the review. I’d definitely go back to try a full dinner. There is no wine or alcohol, but they have sparkling water and turkish coffee as nice options. Seemed busy for takeout. Everything made to order. Takes a bit of time. Don’t be rushed.

This has become one of our favourite neighborhood places. From the outside it looks like a takeaway type place but the food is worthy of fancier sit down places. You can also have your meal sur place. The portions are generous! Shish tawook is succulent and tender. If you have time, order ahead for the whole chicken dinner. Feeds a whole family and is so good. This is the humus: creamy and delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ornina. We ordered the platter combo, and it was amazing. Chicken was really good and not dry. Kebab great. Kofta is actually made the way Syrians and Egyptians make it which is so rare and very very good unlike most middle eastern restaurants I've tried. Lamb chops so wonderful. We also have their fresh bread lovely, so delicious bab ganoush and fattoush. Their food is amazing. The place doesn't look as appealing but it's a hidden gem and presentation is excellent. Our new favorite place. Going back and ordering forsure.

Generally, not the one to write public reviews but the food served at this restaurant just blew our taste buds away!We couldn’t even get all the pictures in.. it was so tasty :-)It was clear that the Chef and his team made each of the menu items with special attention and fresh ingredients!!A hidden gem… we will definitely be a regular here.
