It isn’t John, it’s Madeline giving the review. Great Pilates reformer classes , Barre and Yoga at Get Kinected, the month that they were open. Since lockdown, Shawnda has Zoom barre and other lower and upper body workouts three times a week at 700 am....great way to keep up the exercise during COVID lockdown..

Working out with Shawnda at Get Kinnected Fitness has been a true gift.  I routinely attend the barre and reformer classes and lost 10 inches in just 5 weeks. It has transformed by body and changed my life!  I feel stronger, more flexible and have more engery than I have in years. Shawnda has a wealth of knowledge, and a positive compassionate approach, and the exercises can be adjusted to suit persons of any fitness level. Shawnda was also able to accommodate my preexisting neck injury.  Get Kinnected Fitness is the best gift I've ever given myself. Thank you Shawnda!

Keeping a routine, with Shawnda’s guidance, has been critical to both physical & mental health. I admire Shawnda as a coach, & as a business owner, for her ability to understand her client, & to adapt to overcome unexpected challenges - Zoom sessions during shutdowns, schedule changes, identifying when to push me to work harder vs the days where stretching/yoga is best, helping build the desired physique, teaching exercises to alleviate pain & issues caused by posture/work. Shawnda worked with me pre and post natal. She taught me the importance of pelvic floor, and areas to maintain strength during and after pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable and professional (and fun of course) I highly recommend her!!

Shawnda puts me through a series of exercises and stretches on a bi-weekly basis. After one of her workouts, the roundness" of my back disappears and I feel 3" taller. I think Shawnda is the one reason I am not turning into a pretzel!"

Shawnda has been excellent mentor! She has been assisting me with my recovery from my life altering event and with rehabilitation of my achilles rupture. I am happy to come twice a week to the workouts and she is a lot of fun! The variety of the workouts has been challenging in a great way and encourages me to gain strength, work hard and reach fitness goals towards recovery and losing weight. Without any challenge there is no change! Thank you so much Shawnda! I am loving my rehab/fitness journey with you!

The reformer pilates offered at Get Kinected Fitness is the pilates Belleville has been waiting for! This work out will ignite all your smaller core muscles and you will be sore in muscle areas you didn't even know existed. After two classes I can see the difference. Leaving class I feel leaner, longer and more toned. Some other benefits I am noticing are, improvement in my posture and strength in my pelvic floor. I feel relaxed, and mindful of my body during our sessions. Pilates reformer is a full body and mind work out that I will definetly incorporate to my fitness regime.Through her personal training, Shawnda has helped me work though some of my previous sports injuries and I feel better than I have in years!

I love my bi-weekly training sessions with Shawnda. She is so knowledgeable, encouraging, professional and fun! I have been training with Shawnda for a number of years and it never gets ‘repetitive‘.
