Harvest Drive Family Practice

Great to find a place like this with such friendly and helpful people from reception all the way through to our family doctor (Dr Akangbou). Would recommend this medical centre to anybody new to Ladner.

The administrative staff here is by far the most incompetent I have ever experienced. They can’t seem to coordinate any information, are chronically needing me to update the exact same phone number and address I’ve had for decades, my doctor continues to call the wrong number and then they have the gaul to bill me for a missed appointment!!!I finally had it and had to find a new doctor in Richmond and it’s worth the drive!I informed Harvest Drive of my switch over and now, nearly 9mo later I’ve got a letter Harvest Drive saying I am overdue for my physical!!! GET IT TOGETHER LADIES!

Very difficult to get prescription renewals for my aging parents from this office. Especially for seniors who may forget to reorder. Was told today to go to Emergency or walk in clinic during COVID to get a simple renewal of regular monthly medication that has 5 days left til empty. Gave us a 2 week phone appointment. Too late. How hard is it to pick up the phone or receive a fax from the pharmacy. They don't offer renewals. Must talk to the patient each and every time for a new month of again, regular heart medication for my folks. Not an understanding place at all. Bad service. Bad policy. I don't know if the Doc is good or not (Dr Akangbou)but the policy she advocates is not reasonable for dealing with seniors. Seniors need a safety net.

The staff here have always been very professional, friendly and helpful over the phone and during office visits.
