Service wise: 4/5. Cost wise: 5/5. Location: 3/5. The new location is a bit of a labyrinth to get to, and it isn't obvious where it is (though the giant flag does help a lot). Good news is parking is easy, and getting on the bridge is like 15 seconds away. Only problem is I never use the bridge, and I never have a reason to be out near this new location, so that's a negative for me.I've only ever had to deal with two front desk people: a guy, and a girl. The guy is super nice and helpful, the girl is always on the phone, and is always angry when you get there. I assume she owns the place? Because I don't know how she is still employed there.

Fast and efficient! Everything is organized so well. Their email notifications make picking up our packages a very smooth process.

Not the cheapest, but definitely the best service. They go above and beyond with priority processing, and after hours pickup service. Always on point. You can trust them with your packages.

I understand COVID affects everyone, but this is beyond terrible at this point. I have an anniversary gift that has been there since 2020 that I couldn't pick up because I'm a healthcare worker working 12 hour shifts and I’m only able to cross for work purposes. On the off days I could cross for a few hour training or meeting, they were closed! So if they aren’t open on regular weekdays or aren’t open when working adults clock out, what is the point? Then, when I emailed them on Oct 12 to ask when they are open, I was told they would be “closed Oct. 13”. I emailed on October 14 to ask what hours they were open, only to see they actually WERE open on Oct 13 (when they said they would be closed) and now would be closed on Oct 14. So as a Canadian, you really can’t make plans around picking up a package because you don’t really know when you will be able to pick up. They either need to do a one day a week where they are open for a full 12-14 hours so people can pick up all their stuff, or only open after hours when folks are available after work! Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense to stay open. Business model is in DIRE need of reform. I write this with regret because they were recommended to me by a friend and I’ve had better service in the past. Seems older reviews also confirm they once had better service. I think COVID has done them in, so I feel obligated to alert others before they are also disappointed.

Everyone associated with MyDetroitAddress is excellent! They are always so polite, smiles greet you when you walk in the door and if you tip them they are very appreciative. I love having this option for having my packages delivered to Michigan and not have to pay the extremely high shipping costs for having merchandise shipped to Canada. I am extremely pleased with this company and even more pleased with the men and women who work there. I highly recommend them to anyone who lives in Canada and who wished they had a U.S.A. address.

Wow! I'm so impressed with the service. From the same day (maybe same hour or minute?) emails, to the great location, to the helpful and pleasant counter service, I can't speak highly enough of them. Great parking, close proximity to the bridge, excellent prices.......can I say more? This is a fantastic business and I'm thankful it's there!

Used My Detroit Address for the first time around a week or so ago. They were still getting the facility up and running and while I was there camera's were being installed. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by the employee's. A male and a female. I've never used this service before and didn't receive a message my package was there yet. However the male employee asked what Box # I was and I told him and also told him I was expecting tires.The male employee knew right where they were. This is where I found out they didn't accept Debit or Credit and only cash. Not sure if this is due to receint opening or if it'll change. I was told I could go around the corner to the motel and use their ATM. Didn't love having o do this....Overall I was pleased with the service and will likely use it again, however I'd much prefer to use a card than cash. Please get a point of sale machine.

Poor service, 2 people working at the very busiest time of year. During my hour wait , witnessed 4 people get told they can’t find there package. Also learned that they lost the actual phone to the Canadian phone line so that has not been monitored for a week or so. A bit of clean up and fresh paint on a wall or two, would actually sayto the public that they actually care. I feel sorry for the woman on the front line dealing with the “ missing management” . As her shirt said “She is a blessing”. Too bad no one cared enough to support her.

Gave a good review until they opened my packages... I understand there might have been a confusion in communication the first time. But twice? Even after specifically noting to the attendent and having a note on my account DO NOT OPEN MY PACKAGES"... It was still shipped with them opening my packages and putting it in a larger box to accomdate all the packages Ive had sent to WHICH I BOUGHT AND SHIPPED TO THEM. I get no response from whoever is running the place after calling them out on it. Maybe leaving this review I can get some answers as to why they opened my packages which damaged all the contents that was in it. I don't like leaving bad reviews but come on. Have some accountability. Everyone was struggling with the pandemic last year. I paid the dues in full and paid for the boxes and tape. It is very unprofessional for you to ignore my messages and take accountability in your actions."

I have been a customer of My Detroit Address for about 3 years, I do not use it regularly, but when I do they always go above and beyond. Recently I had a shipment sent to them for a bike part that was under warranty. I had left it there through the move and over 3 months. Eventually I decided I did not need the packages after all and gave permission to dispose of them. I offered to pay for the storage fees, but they said that was not their policy and would not charge me because I did not pick up the package. This type of service is why I continue to use them as my go to for US packages. Thank you for being so professional.
