May 11 Studio

The studio space is super nice. We were in studio B and there was lighting provided and the backdrops were really nice. They only thing we didn't like was feeling rushed. We got there five minutes early and it felt like we had to hurry up and go in to get the low down on the rules. We booked the space for two hours but I guess they had someone else right when we ended. My advice would be to give at least 15 minutes in-between for clean up and to leave, because we were basically ushered out and we still had five minutes left in our session . My favorite studio in winnipeg to rent. The owner vivie is an absolute gem and has dropped everything at home to come back to help me. The space is always clean and the set ups are all included what more could you ask for?

The online booking process was easy to use and their email correspondence is very quick. I had a few questions regarding their bathtub and they answered all my question promptly and quickly! Once I arrived, I fell in love with the space instantly. It's bright, airy with lots of background to choose from. The equipment available is decent quality and sturdy. I've received numerous praise for when I shared behind the scenes videos of the space online. I will definitely be renting again!This is not their fault but one negative is that google maps gave me terrible directions. I had to call them to be able to find the location.

Our wedding was the first to take place at this studio. Let us tell you, if you’re looking for a beautiful, intimate space with INCREDIBLE potential to make it yours, this is your place. We cannot say enough good things about May 11 studio.We rented out both studios and are so glad we did. We used studio b for me (the bride) to get ready, as well as portraits of us. Studio A was where our ceremony took place.. and more portraits because how can you not!!? (There is a getting room between the both with access in studio a. It was a little smaller than what my bridal artists needed but was still a get space to put some items out of the way.)The interior in both is absolutely wonderful, unique, and so versatile. The possibilities are endless with these feature walls and the amount of beautiful props (and camera reflectors etc) that are available.It is CLEAN and crisp. You don’t need to worry about any surprises when you get there. Frank and Vivie were VERY helpful and accommodating, and easy to get ahold of with questions and touring. Wonderful people!Parking worked great for our guests and vendors. I believe 3 slots were available in front (access to studio a) and 3 in back (studio b).The lighting in these spaces is wonderful, with large windows in both studios and huge illuminating overhead lights.The ceilings are very tall, and none of the working of the building like pipes are seen in photos either. We appreciated that!There was really no need for the photographer to “avoid” any thing in the space. Everything is flawless.There was a complimentary coat rack and some other little things in utility carts that really came in handy.Overall, we are beyond pleased with our experience here and so thankful to have found May 11. Our original venue was not what we expected, and we are blessed to have so quickly found this place. We fell in love from the moment we entered the room.Thank you Vivie and Frank!!! You will likely see us again!!

The studio is very clean and there are TONS of props and backgrounds to choose from :)

I would absolutely recommend this studio, Vivie was awesome. We had a newborn photo session, and Vivie was so gentle and good with babies. Finally, we loved the photos.

One of the newer studios in Winnipeg, May 11 Studio is quickly becoming my favourite go to studio for indoor photoshoots. Their 2 themed rooms have multiple walls and set ups that are constantly being refined and updated. My clients that have shot here have always complimented the cleanliness and very clean aesthetics of the studio. During the holidays, there were even included Xmas themed setups that were free of charge that were gorgeous and would have cost extra at other studios. Add to that the owner Vivie and her husband have been very nice and accommodating throughout my time knowing them. All in all, if you are looking for a studio, look no further!

Great studio!! So many different backdrops in one studio which allows for so much creativity in one session booking. Can’t wait to go back for holiday photos in their new set up!

Had to opportunity of shooting here last month and am very happy with the studio! It was easy to work out of and had amazing lighting.
