Thank goodness for this vet. They know what they are doing, and while it is not the fanciest place, nor my main vet (2 hr drive away) we are so lucky to have somewhere affordable like this for surgeries that would otherwise be out of price range. They removed both upper carnissial teeth (my 50 pound aussie managed to chip them and expose the root) from my dog 2 years ago and we never had an issue. The price was 1/3 what other vets were quoting, some vets were even going to charge up to 2k and at the time it was under $500 at foothills. At the time, it wasn't even a choice for us. Very much appreciate this vet for being an option. I would return one day if needed.

Excellent service, friendly people, they have saved our female dogs life and helped us find homes for a batch of puppies we were not expecting and put a pup out of its misery when it was hit by a car on the highway. I highly recommend this business.

Brought my dog here this week for his neuter and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm from Ontario and the prices there are completely insane so when we came out this way to visit family, they recommended Foothills to us as they have had nothing but great experiences here. Prices were incredibly reasonable and staff were all kind and knowledgeable and made sure we were informed about the procedure and after care. I've never left my dog with anyone other than family before, but after meeting the vet I felt very comfortable trusting them with my dog, and although he is an anxious dog he wasn't upset by me leaving him there which is unusual for him. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Dr. Merkley is truly incredible. I don’t think there is another person out there that cares as much as he does for both the animals and the the owners. X-rays, blood testing and eventually a blood transfusion saved my dog after he got in to rat poison without us knowing. Dr Merkley was so generous with his time and beyond fair with his prices. If you are looking for a competent and well priced clinic then this is the place to go.

We are fairly new to town and are always in need of a groomer and a vet when you have fur babies. We just brought home a beautiful puppy and they took really good care of him when he went for his little surgery. Very nice and welcoming clinic.

We go here, because he has lots of knowledge on Chinese Shar pei's. We just had our pup fixed and they also trimmed her nails for us.

Very friendly staff and a very good vet. While my pug is terrified to be there they don't get upset that she is clinging to me. Very good prices and so much better then city vets. They got a new life long client.
