Patene Building Supplies

Never done business with this supplier. However I came home to find their approximately 45 foot truck in my concrete driveway with outriggers extended to within 2Feet of my foundation. This truck was loaded with 80 sheets of 12 foot by 1/2 inch drywall. It appears that 80 sheets were off loaded prior to my getting home. That is a lot of weight onMy 4 inch thick concrete driveway. It is their corporate policy not to park on someone's property without the owner signing a waiverWhich I did not sign. I took pics and so did myNeighbors because they new I wasn't home.Doesn't appear to be any damage that I haveNoticed yet but time will tell. Would I do business here. Not if that is how they treat people and their property.

Based on our bricklayer’s advice we went with Patene for the brick and stone for our new house build. Dave came out to measure and quote the materials. There were issues along the way, but nothing out of the ordinary for a large build. When we finished there were almost 7 cubes of max bricks left over, along with the masonry cement needed for these. There were also partial skids of stone. After repeated texts, calls and emails on our part to have the extra materials picked up, Patene finally picked them up after close to 5 weeks. Our credit seemed less than expected, and after digging deeper we found out why. They charged us restocking on the bricks from Dave‘s miscalculations and after delaying picking up for so long, claimed the cement was unusable. He also claimed that if the stone doesn’t make a full level, we don’t get a credit and they throw the extra stone away. Ya right!!! I doubt they throw materials away. Be careful with Patene, they seem to be all about their sales numbers, not customer service.

I use Patene all the time, I have a small business and they are always available and never once have I had an issue with a delivery or product. Always fast and always on time or early.Do not go to Herman building supply for roofing materials you'll waste your time.

My roofing company used Patene Building Supplies. The roofer had some left overs from the job that this company is supposed to pick up. It has been week as of June 24, 2021 and they still have not picked it up. The stuff has been left on the single driveway blocking access to the garage and making it difficult to park on the driveway. This is for a house on a major street on Toronto. Every day is a different excuse, like their truck broke down. Anyways, this is causing great distress and health issues for my retired parents who are already having issues and this company is making it even more difficult by leaving stuff on the driveway for an extended time. Contractors, avoid this company if you want happy

Patene is amazing for all my roofing needs. Doreen and all the girls are amazing and always willing to go the extra mile. Marc is the best driver and will go above and beyond for his customers when delivering materials. Highly recommend this company for your home renovation needs.

Won’t go there again. Four people behind the desk and too busy talking about their trips to bother helping me. Very rude. When I asked for help they couldn’t be bothered to assist. Went to Ferrell and was helped right away and found what I needed.
