Ed Shields took over my treatment after my original physiotherapist moved on. Ed is very knowledgeable. He really knows his job. I will continue to go to this office until I’m better.

If you are discouraged by your injuries and frustrated that you aren't as active as you want to be, PLEASE do yourself a favour and go see Ed and the staff @ Active Physio!!I have seen Ed twice now for injuries and both times he has successfully gotten me back on my feet. I will not take my body to any other physiotherapist in the city because Ed and the staff @ Active Physio honestly care about my wellbeing and want to see me get back to doing what I love as soon as I can.I cannot thank Ed and the rest of the staff @ Active Physio enough for all you have done. Physical activity is so important to me and without you all my life just wouldn't have the same amount of joy as it does now. Thank you all!!!!-Chad

I have been seeing Curtis about a hip injury and am very pleased with how knowledgeable, professional and friendly he is. With feeling progression after every session I am very happy with the results and would 10/10 recommend Curt and the clinic to anyone with PT needs.

Curtis handled my post surgery recovery from a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. His insights, and approach to build back functional strength and mobility was awesome. I highly recommend Curtis!!!

So super greatful for the Folks at Kensington Active Physio, but especially for Ed, Meghan, Mo and the rest of the team. Currently awaiting surgery for a blown out left knee, torn ACL, MCL and Ligament. Thankfully I'm on the road to recovery with the support of these fine folks, they have helped me so much, from the Receptionists, to the Masseuse, to the physiotherapists and Service dogs that you occasionally run into. Coincidentally my son was Hit by a car as a pedestrian, and the insurance company wanted to send me to their place, I argued, No I will be taking him to the Physio office I attend. Turns out happened to be the same office. I was glad to have him come to the Kensington Active Physio because I am more than confident in their abilities. He's fine now, Thanks Active Physio!

I’ve had such a wonderful experience with all the staff at Kensington active physio works! My physiotherapist Curtis is the best! He is hard working, attentive and kind. Not only is he a great person but he is a fantastic physio! I highly recommend Curtis as a physiotherapist.

I have been seeing Curtis since Jan of this year. I was in two MVAs in 2022 and massage/chiro wasn’t enough for me. After our first session I knew these treatments would work for me. Curtis is very personable, knowledgeable and makes sure I am always comfortable. Love the whole team ;)

Megan is a very talented massage therapist. 100% satisfaction every time. Truly recommend her to anyone who needs those deep hard to release tension spots looked after.

Been going to Active Physio Works Kensington location in Edmonton since April after being involved in a car accident. Curtis has been fantastic in getting me back towards normal these past two months with different exercises and stretches to help me gain mobility and reduce pain. Improvements each and every week!
