Our 4-legged son Ace gives us so much love, attention and happiness that we don’t trust just anyone but through the interview process and overnight stay Ashley gained our trust and confidence. It gives me great satisfaction when we are away to see amazing photos and videos where Ace is having an exhausting tussle with other dogs, a dog sled team walk or just a relaxing cuddle with Ashley. Our dog isn’t the best eater when we are away but Ashley tries many many different techniques and tricks to get him to eat which is working. Thank you Ashley for giving Ace a happy and loving home away from home, it means the world to us!!!

Ashley from Fido and Friends is a fantastic pet sitter who is so loving, caring and attentive with our sweet little Milo. He has allergy issues and is very picky about his sleep habits and she is so attentive and flexible with his pickiness to ensure he comfortable and feels loved. We are very lucky to have found her, even though we live a half hour away - we never have a problem making the trip to bring him there. He always comes home happy and very well taken care of! Our pup adores Ashley and we trust her with caring for him like a family pet. We get photo and video updates of their walks, playtime and snuggles. Ashley is also very professional with documents, scheduling and making sure she know everything she needs to know about the pets she cares for. Ashley took care of our labradoodle Finn while we were away for 2 weeks visiting family. We didn't feel comfortable leaving Finn in a pet hotel where we felt it would be too stressful and stimulating with so many other dogs for that period of time so Ashley's in-home setup was perfect. We did an afternoon and then overnight trial stays initially to acclimate Finn who can be nervous in new situations, but from here 2nd visit on Finn was enthusiastic about visiting Ashely so we knew she was comfortable. While we were away Ashley sent us regular pictures and short videos of Finn having a great time either on her own or with her co-boarders. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending!

We had Ashley at our home to help us improve our loose leash walking in our back yard. She was incredibly friendly, helpful and encouraging. We learned lots of new skills to practice all summer in just 1 training session. We would highly recommend her for training and we are hoping to see about her boarding services in the near future. Ashley from Fido and Friends is very caring and understanding of the needs to best suit your dogs. She is very patient with nervous dogs and has a great handle on body language of dogs when introducing them to others. Would highly highly recommend her for anyone looking to leave their pup in the care of someone’s home versus boarding in kennel environment.

Ashley‘s online training sessions have been a game changer for our family! Ashley has been helping us with puppy training for skills like walking on-leash, brain games, puppy manners and potty training. Even though the pandemic restrictions necessitated a move to online training sessions, Ashley‘s knowledge and skills as a dog trainer allow her to provide online sessions that are filled with helpful insights and practical strategies that allow us to make ongoing progress with our puppy! Whether in person or online, Ashley is excellent at what she does! She is Winnipeg’s own dog whisperer!

Ashley has looked after our little boy Bear twice now when we have travelled. Rather than a loud kennel where he is overwhelmed and stressed ( as has happened once in the past), Ashley treats him as one of her own and gives him all the love and attention he is used to! She is very professional and keeps us updated with comments, photos and even videos of him. We will not hesitate to have her take care of Bear again and give her the highest possible recommendation. We have been using Fido and Friends as our go-to dog sitter when we go on holidays. Arthur has stayed with Ashley and Adrian for as little as 3 nights and as long as over 2 weeks! We cannot say how much we appreciate the care and attention we know Arthur gets when he stays! We constantly get picture and video updates which of course makes us happy to see him having so much fun! We know he’s exercised and cuddled and feels at home there:).
