Petit ETANG beach

Very good sandy beach with little people. You'll like it if you want a bit of solitude too yourself

Great little rocky beach, with a view of the hill nearby and a calm inlet area on the other side. Road to get there has lots of pot holes though.

I really love this hidden slice of natural perfection. I love rocky beaches best, but also need to at least be able to wade in the Atlantic and this beach has both possibilities in copious amounts. A berm of sand, sea grasses and wildflowers forms a low embankment behind an expanse of stones, which runs down to sand, which slips beneath the edge of the surf....glorious! A longer beach, the sand makes it more easily walkable than the nearby La Bloc Beach. The surf provides a soothing soundtrack for your private thoughts as you walk your spirits back into contentment. The only drawback was the drive down towards the beach being a bit rugged for my small car (a 4x4 or small truck would be better) and at the terminus a large pool of water of unknown depth had been left by the previous night's storm, necessitating a 3-point turn and a squeeze onto the nearly non-existent verge. Still going on my list of favourite beaches!

Can swim in the ocean and a fresh water lake within a couple hundred feet! We saw seals, beware, the rocks have sharp barnacles on then so you need water shoes!

Absolutely stunning! Ensure you take a good camera for landscape shots!

Beautiful place for a wedding or just to relax and enjoy the day awesome place.

Nice place for visiting but use SUV preferably, a little bit hard to go without SUV.

A nice beach. There is an area better for swimming on the side of the beach that is on the river.
