Giving 5 stars to this location because of the stellar service I received from Natasha at Pharmacy. Upon picking up my prescription I was notified that I am due to pay $172. I then asked if both my insurance and my husband insurance had covered the cost. She noticed only 1 went through and one had an error. She offered to call the insurance to get it corrected. With the many people lined up behind me I offered that I can pick up later so she can attend the others with their pick up. Upon my return she was already on the phone with the insurance getting the required information. To conclude, she was able to get the charges go through on both the insurance we have and she saved me $172. Thank you very much for your help today, Natasha. I truly appreciate the service I received from you today.

When I requested a prescription refill, he mistakenly sent the request to Shoppers Drug Mart instead of my son's doctor. Unfortunately, I only became aware of this error after waiting for three days. To my astonishment, the team at the pharmacy attempted to shift the blame onto the doctor, falsely claiming that they had not received a response.Seeking evidence of the refill request, I insisted on proof, only to be informed that it was indeed their mistake. It became apparent that a complete overhaul of the team, including the owner, is necessary to rectify the numerous shortcomings. This store's overall performance is a disgrace to the esteemed Shoppers Drug Mart brand, tarnishing its reputation.When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested better service, I was met with a shocking response: they offered to return my prescription and suggested I find another pharmacy. The audacity of such a response from a retailer is truly disheartening. It is my firm belief that this establishment does not value its customers and fails to understand the importance of providing exceptional service.I implore you to take your business elsewhere to spare yourself the headache and frustration. I can confidently recommend PharmaSave in Southfield as a superior alternative. This boutique pharmacy not only provides excellent customer service but also employs qualified professionals who genuinely care about their patients' well-being.In conclusion, I urge you to avoid this particular Shoppers Drug Mart location at all costs. Worst experience with the pharmacist and the associate. They absolutely need sensitivity training. No one should make fun of anyone's medical condition. I would give a negative rating if I could.

I usually have a good experience except for when my doctor writes a slightly complex prescription. Then they don't seem to get the refill dates right. Please answer your phones during business hours!!

This location’s pharmacy service is absolutely horrible. They don’t get the prescriptions ready in time, are always short-staffed and wait times are horrendous.

Nobody ever answers the phone at the pharmacy, and I mean EVER. This is certainly not an isolated incident. I had a critical question for the pharmacist about the perscription that I had just brought home, and I was on hold for about 48 minutes before I decided to hang up. I called the next morning, and again in the afternoon and it was the same experience each time. The only reason I have continued at this location is because they have my prescription on file. When my doctor renews it, I will be going to another pharmacy.Here's the thing, if you go back through the history of the reviews for this location, you can see many complaints usually about the same 2 or 3 issues, and most times there is a response from Shoppers Drug Mart apologizing and saying how they strive" for excellent customer service. All this is is patronizing the writers of these reviews

The worst Shoppers Pharmacy. No one ever picks up the phone, and they have now turned off their automation so you’re stuck in an endless ring with no one answering the calls. When you go in person the pharmacy staff is rude and dismissive of their customers. Pretty sad that there are people who’s health relies on your awful services. This pharmacy is far too small and incompetent to handle the community it resides in.

Nash was very helpful at the post office and so kind. Every time I come in I always get amazing customer service and a big smile. Nash is such a nice woman.

Not happy with the pharmacy. I went in to get my husband’s post-operative pain meds. She told me it’s 1 hr wait. What?? But these are post-op pain meds - is there no way to get it filled quickly? No she said, there’s a lot people ahead of you. Because they’re all waiting for post-op pain meds? A regular prescription refill could easily wait the 5 min it takes to dispense a few pills. But no, I have to wait a whole hour. Hubby is in pain, due for his meds and can’t take anything else. NICE move lady. You win the award for most heartless and useless person. Thanks for making an already difficult day that much worse.

Prescription was sent in for medication for Covid patient at noon on a Monday. At 4pm it wasn’t ready and we were told they would call us. At 7 pm the store called to let me know that what they had on hand was expired and they still didn’t have the prescription for the inhalers, even though it was sent multiple times. It is now 9pm on Tuesday and the inhalers still aren’t ready. I guess breathing while having Covid isn’t a priority. I understand being busy but this is people’s health and wellbeing that is being affected. Hire more staff if you’re this overloaded all the time. I have literally stood at the counter while two employees talked to each other about applying for jobs elsewhere, ignoring customers and the persistent “Pharmacy 101” pages that are always going off. In the end it’s my fault for continuing to use this pharmacy.Update: The store is now closed and the prescription still wasn’t ready. Who needs the ability to breathe? Right? I’m just waiting for the canned response about how important their customer’s health is.Update#2 the prescription that was expired was filled. Someone wrote over the original expiry date forgetting that it’s stamped on individual blister packs. Is Dispensing expired medication for a time sensitive prescription is a normal procedure for a pharmacy?
