Credit Valley Audiology and Hearing Services

I was surfacing the web and decided to try Credit Valley Audiology. I attended my appointment and met Michael who right from the beginning seemed so knowledgeable. He ran a series of tests , which was 2 more than I had a few years back when I had my hearing checked at another place. He has a wide variety of top of the line hearing aids, his prices are fantastic , because I searched before going,(sorry Michael) I really liked his very calm personality and no pressure sales .I got my hearing aids and even ordered custom swimmers ear plugs. I so trust him with honoring the warranties and if there is any problems like batteries etc , HE is there to service them on the quickly. I highly recommend credit Valley Audiology for every reason. Thank you for getting my hearing back to where it should be.

sorry about pseudonym but I am a real user of Dr Schamber's services!I have been a client for quite a few years and I am not on my third hearing aid devices with Credit Valley Audiology.Dr. Michael Schamber is a patient doctor who listens to your needs and is never hurried to see you in and out. He is open to exploring new technology and helps to get the most out of your aids to benefit your end goals.He is even helping me after my move to BC and has really done his utmost to help me to secure top level aids at a very decent price after I lost my last set.I have no hesitation in providing this favourable review.

Outstanding! Came in with a broken hearing aid and he was able to fix it in five minutes.

Michael is the best audiologist I ever experienced. Both my mom and my dad have hearing problem, he provided very good solution for them. My family are happy with his service.

For several years I didn’t want to accept the fact that in my late 30’s I could not hear things clearly. I felt very embarrassed with the constant question I would ask people …”could you repeat that again please”.I was nervous about the appointment with Michael (Credit Valley Audiology & Hearing Services) but was relieved once I met him, he was professional and friendly! Firstly he checked my ears followed by a full hearing test, it was very thorough and he explained the process as we went along which I was extremely grateful for!The reality is that I did need hearing aids for both ears, I could not believe how many hours Michael spent with me to explain exactly what kind of hearing loss I have (the degree) and what the best options were for me.There was no pressure for me to make any immediate decision, and once I did commit Michael explained the process and timelines, my budget, ordering, receiving, government rebates, and the actual fitting of the hearing aids.Michael spent at least 2 hours with me, fine tuning and making sure I left the office able to hear clearly. Weeks later I decided to go back to fine tune things again to make minor adjustments, again he was happy to spend as much time needed, that showed me that he is in this line of work to help people lead a better life, he loves what he does!Over the years I upgraded to another pair of hearing aids and provided the same high level of service, he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and happy, which I was.I recently accidentally got my hearing aids wet, I thought for sure they were ruined, I emailed Michael and he said to send them in for him to check them out…… I absolutely was shocked when he wrote back to say they are fixed and he did not charge me for this service…. Now that is someone who is all about looking after people.I am writing this review because I know how overwhelmed I was in deciding who to trust. My personal experience has been fantastic and genuine.

My son and now my dad have been patients of Michael for a few years. Michael is a very friendly and helpful Doctor who always looks out for his patients. He is very accommodating as well.

I am very pleased to write this review for Credit Valley Audiology. Before choosing this office, I had reached out to many other audiologist offices and have been to a few that were good. But in complete honesty, the compassion, care, patience, professionalism and service that Dr. Michael and his staff displayed over multiple visits showed the significant difference when compared to other places I visited in the past, in fact, I would wish that all other health offices could follow his standard.He is friendly, welcoming, personable and most importantly he makes you feel like you are being cared for and he would go the extra mile and spend the extra minute to make sure. Although the ratings are currently few, I can truly understand and attest why he has 5 stars and I would recommend him not only because he deserves it but also because people who need proper hearing care deserve to know that. Well done and thank you.

A fabulous audiologist that I would give 10 stars to if it was possible. Great service and prices that just cannot be beat. I took my Mom in to see him. She has severe hearing loss and has not been able to hold a conversation for years. Her previous experience with hearing aids was terrible and she was wary of going through this again, including spending thousands of dollars. Michael was patient and empathetic. He answered every question my Mother had, leaving her feeling at ease. In the end he offered us options that will allow my Mom to find the best hearing aid to suit her needs at an unbelievable price!

He is extremely knowledgeable, supportive, compassionate and a great listener. He helped my mother quickly adjust to her first set of hearing aids. Michael has gone the extra mile right from the start to ensure everything went smoothly, and continues to go the extra mile two plus years later.Other healthcare professionals could learn from his customer approach.I would highly recommend Michael for those needing proper hearing care.
