I've had alterations and dry cleaning done here for a few years now. The last job I brought in was tricky - shortening a pair of waterproof snow pants. She did a great job, and I was able to wear them on a trip to the Arctic the following week.

I did my first sewing lesson this afternoon with Lynda and she was absolutely amazing! The two hours flew by. She is an incredible teacher, so friendly and made the experience really enjoyable! I have zero sewing experience but left confident enough to go home and try out a few things on my own. I highly recommend Sew Helpful!

I was referred here from Lululemon downtown, as soon as I walked in it came across that I was a complete inconvenience. She was rude and then when I told her what I wanted done, she seemed to doubtful that it was actually what I wanted. My mother then went to check if they were ready since she was in that area and she experienced the same thing, the first thing she said was well did you receive a call". For someone that was referred by Lululemon I expected better customer service."

Contacted SewHelpful about a faulty zipper on a sleeping bag. Received a prompt reply to my email and brought the item in shortly thereafter for an assessment. Lynda was really helpful and provided candid advice (not a good prognosis for the sleeping bag, alas). She even took time to try to sort the issue during our consultation and provided clear next steps. I would definitely return to the business with future sewing needs. Thank you!
