Fast Service, Car was clean and fully fueled.Of Note they did add on the fuel service package and billed me for it, however I was able to get a refund after I dropped off the car without much hassle.

I recently rented a car from your Halifax Airport location and was extremely pleased with the service I received. The car was ready for me when I got off the plane and it was a beautiful vehicle. I am rating them 4 stars as I have always had quick, and efficient service here, however my latest return was disappointing. I dropped the car as I usually do and was told I would be emailed my invoice. When I received it , there was a $160 refueling charge despite having just filled the car. I have emailed 3 times and have yet to receive a response. Upon scrolling through other reviews, this appears to be a frequent issue. Hoping for a resolution.

I had a great experience with National at Halifax. The pickup process was simple and quick and within 10 min we were on our way with the Buick we got. The car was very clean and comfortable. The drop off took a bit longer because they were very busy and didn't have any parking space left. We got a little confused as to what we should do with the car but luckily someone helped us out.Recommendation would be to email me where to drop the car before hand and what to do when it is really busy similar to the email i received before arrival.

Without exception, the service I have gotten from National at the Halifax International Airport is top notch. Always prompt. Always polite. Always have the car I'm looking for. The convenience of the drop off and then emailing the receipt immediately.... I've dealt with some of the budget rental agencies and the difference in what you get from them compared to what you get with National is remarkable.

National Car Rental at the Halifax Airport is a true example of Superior Client Experience. From the collecting to the returning of the rental car - it was only a pleasure. The staff addressed me by my 1st name, which made it a very personalized experience and the professionalism and friendliness (I know it is East Coast, but these folks went above and beyond) were just amazing. Great job everyone! I am a loyal customer now.

I have been a customer of National Car Rental for years. The Halifax Airport is one of my favourite pick up/drop off places. The staff there always go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with my rentals.I like the reminders that I receive for both picking up and dropping off and I also appreciate the Emerald service of not having to line up at the desk but head right out to the kiosk for my car.It's a pleasure to do business with this company.

I'm generally satisfied with National but today I give them just 1 star. Received the invoice including a refuel service fee despite I had informed the clerk I was returning the car with even more gas than I had received it. Upon contact with the call center, I seemingly have been reimbursed but it's still disappointing not to have received any apology.

The Halifax Airport National branch is extremely helpful and friendly. I don't go into a car rental place looking for an upgrade, but I have been upgraded here more often than not. I appreciate it. The service is fast and friendly, and in the past if I had an issue with a car (rare) it was dealt with straight away.

These guys left before closing by an hour and left me high and dry. Unbelievable. Go with Avis or Budget.
