Bicycles Plus

I simply cannot agree with the unfavourable review by Justin Time. My wife and I are not roadies

I would give Bicycles Plus a ZERO star rating if possible but this webpage does not support that.Here's why.I've been in this shop a half dozen times in the past decade. Each time I find the combination of unwelcoming/elitist roadie only" vibe and bizarre test ride policy a real barrier to me and my wife buying any bike from them. Like other reviewers

I bought my first bike from Barry around 15 years ago and have been coming back to Bicycles Plus ever since. He has a great shop in Bedford and his staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you are an experienced roadie, mountain biker or a first timer, I would highly recommend you visit Barry and Zack at Bicycles Plus.

What's not to like? A locally owned bike shop with a great owner and staff. Nice, clean, modern-looking store with a great selection of bikes and accessories at very reasonable prices. I've had repair work done here before as well and it was done on-time and professionally. Great store!

Went to bicycles plus since I live up the street. Walked down with some components I needed to replace on my older bike. The staff seemed to have very little interest in helping me out, probably because I was actually working on my bike, and not looking like a client who was going to spend $3000 on a new bike.On top of that, I wasn't provided with everything I needed, one cable short, when I got home.I'd highly recommend another small business, Sports Wheels, on Sackville Drive, which is where I'll be taking the rest of my business.

I have been a customer of this shop for 20+ years in its various locations in Bedford and the one consistency in all instances is its customer responsiveness. I have patronized every other shop in the NS market, and others do not compare.If they did not have an item, they would find it...competitive pricing and current trend products are its hallmark. Clearly the most forward looking, progressive and engaged with the cycling community shop in the area. I have bought several bikes for my family from Bicycles Plus and the pre & post service have been exemplary. Could not recommend this shop highly enough - buy your bike and accessories here.

I have been coming to Bicycles Plus since I moved to Nova Scotia in 2001. Barry and his knowledgeable and friendly staff have always been great to deal with. From carrying great bikes at all price points to parts, accessories, clothing and protective gear-they've got it all. Oh, and an espresso bar!

This is a great bike shop! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I have a good experience every time I walk through the door. And it helps that the owner is top-notch!

I love this shop. Have been getting my bikes here for the last 10 years. It's your local bike shop done right. The showroom is beautiful and there is an espresso bar. Plus the staff and the owner love bikes, so you get awesome service. What more could you ask for?!!
