Red Basil Vietnamese Restaurant
First time here. Service was quick and friendly. The spring rolls were fairly standard, but hot and fresh tasting. The pho was very hot and very good. The portion was average to small compared to many places, but it was more than filling and very delicious. I will definately return next time I'm in the area.

As the weather gets colder, having pho is the decision to do! And this place serves flavourful and fresh food that will not disappoint!! I wish we had the chance to try the spicy pho they had, however overall it was still a good experience, mango salad is amazing! Everything in the appetizer platter is filling and the ginger tea hits home ❤️

What a terrible experience we got. We ordered Pho with beef brisket, they gave us pho with barely any beef brisket, instead they put meatballs, and some other things which was not written on the menu. The noodles had no vegetables , but the menu said they’ll put bean sprouts on it. The food we ordered were mediocre and prepared in a rush.

Great little spot...many well priced lunch specials that include nice sm salad (basic vinegar). $15 w tax and tip. Crispy duck lunch special was super tasty but longer offered - full dinner only $24 bit steep for lunch. Fresh roll apps good as well.

I don't even live in Cambridge anymore and every time I'm back in town I always make a point of eating at my old favourite Cambridge restaurant... The Red Basil. They have always served super high quality, delicious, authentic food for a reasonable price. We ate tonight with my husband, kids, aunt & uncle and everyone's food was incredible. The owner and his family are always there working hard and their dedication is very evident over the years. Love this place! Best Vietnamese food in the KW region hands down!

Today I had lunch at Red Basil Vietnamese Restaurant; first impression was the setting and music ambiance was nice clean and relaxing. The server I had was very welcoming and attentive. My food came out in great timing, and was brought out to me by the chef which was the nicest lady, because she said I hope you enjoy the meal with the nicest smile. On to the food! I got the beef noodle soup, with crispy vegetarian spring rolls. The pho here is very deep in flavour and delicious. I noticed they use a thicker noodle than traditionally used, but they were cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The spring rolls were good, but I would recommend asking for the peanut sauce instead of the one they serve if your not allergic. All in all, I recommend Trying this place out.Thanks for the read and happy eating!

An easy 5-star experience here. One of the best phos that I've ever had. Their chicken spring roll is great as well. Priced reasonably as well (I think it's cheap!). I will come back more often for sure!!
