As a fellow sharpener starting out. LA Sharpening has been great to work with. A wealth of knawlage. I send tools that I'm not set up to work on to them and have always been impressed.

I have been using LA sharpening for all of my grooming businesses sharpening and equipment maintenance for a long time now! Could not be happier with the service. Angie and Dan are absolutely fantastic to work with. They're incredibly knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any question you may have/show you have to personally maintain your own equipment. Their turnaround time is pretty quick and I couldn't recommend a better sharpener. Plus! It's not just grooming shears! Angie has mentioned that they will also sharpen fabric shears and cooking knives! I personally have been grooming for about 4 years and they're the only sharpener I've used that I could trust. They have earned my business forever. They are a huge part of the grooming community and they make sure to let you know that you're not just a client, you're family.

The owner offered to bring shampoo to Medicine Hat to save me on shipping. She told me which month then I didn’t hear back so I contacted to ask again if she was going and she, yet again, confirmed she would be going still so I held out ordering. 2 months later I email asking and got a short response back that she’s too busy. A heads up that she was never going would’ve been greatly appreciated so I could make other arrangements.

Sending my high-end shears to LA Sharpening is scary. But only because of the mailing. Never questioned the skill or quality of the service. That is always great. They always package the shears really well. Even better than me sending my stuff to them as paranoid as I am.

Angie and Dan are amazing at what they do! Their quality, customer service and speed is just unrivalled! I sent in a huge amount of equipment in need of some serious repairs and I was utterly but pleasantly surprised to see how quickly they got it done! And it all works gorgeously, my shears cut like butter and my clippers have never sounded so good! By far the best sharpeners in the Edmonton Area and dare I say, Western Canada! I won’t have anyone else do my sharpening because these guys keep me in business with their superior work! Thanks again guys!!
